   Skopes Hull: Garry’s got style, service, and swagger. Absolutely buzzing with my experience at Skoopes. No pushy sales, just honest advice and good vibes. Walked out with a killer three-piece wedding suit for under £250, feeling like a boss and looking the part. Hull’s hidden gem? Found it, suited up in it, and strutted out smiling.

   I went here today to buy a suit for my wedding and the memory of staff called Johnathan was really helpful he only just started but he was very helpful, we had a great time and a laugh with him and he was very helpful. I don’t wear suits very often so I didn’t know my size in anything and I didn’t know what to go for style wise and he went the extra mile he was extremely helpful I would highly recommend visiting this lovely shop with great staff. Thank you.

   Visited this store with my fiancée and have no intentions of ever stepping foot in there again. The two members of staff didn't seem to want to be there, ignored at first (apart from the eye roll we received as we walked past the counter). When I did ask a question, I was first ignored again and then given a blunt response. Safe to say I'll be buying our wedding suits elsewhere.

   Getting married next week and I had been looking all over yorkshire for 5 suits, came here best selection i'd seen. Staff seemed genuinely interested in my requirements, price was right and very well presented. All round excellent service.

   Joshua Day (I hope that's definitely him) was lovely. I was very nervous and he helped talk me through what to look for, and what pieces suited each other. I found the suit I'm very happy with, and I couldn't have asked for a more polite and enthusiastic person to help me. He was incredibly kind and made the whole process less stressful. 10/10, he was just so lovely The suits were all really nice, and I got to try on quite a range and ask for helpful advice! I got a bowtie too, which is very nice! Thank you for helping me find something suitable for interviews and graduation!!! Joshua helped me, as a trans man feel completely at ease, and I can't explain how much that meant for someone who already felt a little awkward and out of place!!

   Great shop, high quality products and reasonable prices all let down by unnecessarily rude staff. Visited today, after finding what I liked (and fitted) I was getting ready to buy a 3 piece suit when the male staff member behind the desk struck up conversation. He advised he could have saved me "wasting" the last 25 mins looking around the shop by advising me of my size. So that I didn't need to get all "sweaty" trying suits on. I had tried two suits on, in a warm shop, in 22 degrees heat, my partner advised I was more warm that sweaty. Regardless of my personal body temperature, both these comments were completely unnecessary and unacceptable. I responded to the initial comment that at least I knew my size now. To which the staff member reiterated how much time I had "wasted" trying on their products. The shop was empty at this point and had, at max 3 other shopping parties during all this time. No assistance had been offered, other than the normal meet and greet staff do in shops and to advise the fitting rooms were available. The attitude this staff member presented, I know isn't the attitude the company works to ensure in their shops having purchased several Skopes suits from other outlets in the past. It will however leave a sour taste about revisiting them in the future. To the management of the Hull store, I would recommend looking into retraining of this staff member to prevent further lost sales.
