Lovely staff and a nice ambience .However I had the roast of the day which was lamb and this was tasteless as were the roast potatoes.My partners chicken was tough. On the positive the portions were generous and the chips were top notch.
Had a great meal at Primrose! The food was delicious, and the portions were really generous. The place has a cosy, welcoming vibe, and the staff were lovely. Plus, it’s really good value for money—definitely a spot I’d go back to!
Fantastic service. Was able to bring my service dog in without question. Was quiet and service was on point. My Steak was cooked perfectly and didn’t feel rushed. Gluten free and vegetarian selection was top notch and, according to my wife and daughter, was very tasty. Would recommend

Amazing food and super helpful friendly staff.
Had dinner tonight with family for a birthday treat. And it very much was a treat. Food as always was excellent but what really set the evening off was the service. You couldn't wish for nicer staff who went out of their way to make the visit memorable. Five stars isn't enough! Have been using The Primrose for over 45 years and never fails to please but tonight was just extra special. Thanks to everyone.
