Good coffee and good comfy environment. They have couches which I appreciate and the ambience was not loud or chaotic. The staff was also super nice and allowed people to enjoy their coffee without being gawked at like in other stores

Amazing. A big group of us were staying in the area for the weekend and needed somewhere to eat on bank holiday Monday. These guys were welcoming and dealt with us as a big group like a breeze! (A big group who aren’t vegan!) but the food was amazing and tasty, and it was a cool vibe.

Excellent vegan cafe in central Southsea - and a short walk from Canoe Lake and the Butterfly Museum for afterwards with the family. Coffee and food both excellent. Also takeaway option from a hatch so you can grab on the go if you’re out and about.

It’s one of my favourite places to go. The coffee is amazing, very tasty meals and cakes to go with it! Dog friendly and a lovely place to spend your time in. Could not recommend enough. The takeout options are just as good, especially the sausage rolls and new sandwiches they’ve just started rolling out :)

I had a very positive experience at this small vegan restaurant. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and the staff are friendly and professional. The menu offers a variety of vegan options, and I was impressed with the quality of the food. The English breakfast was well-prepared and flavorful, and the breakfast bagel was a great combination of textures and flavors. The coffee was of good quality and the coconut cake was a nice accompaniment. I thought the chocolate pancakes would make a good desert, but it turned out they could be a separate breakfast dish :) Overall, I recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking vegan food in the area. The food and service were both of good quality and I would be happy to visit again in the future, to try out the lunch menu.

Such a beautiful vegan gem in Portsmouth ! When travelling down from the North to my hometown, cannot go without a visit to the best cafe. Yet again the food and customer service was incredible. The detail in decoration, and effort in flavours the kitchen and staff put into their delicous vegan dishes is second to none. We had the breakfast bowl and immune booster juice and it was just perfection. We also got cookies to takeaway (the peanut butter cookies are to die for!) As fellow vegan foodies and people who work in food and hospitality we can only appreciate and applaud Hunter gatherer cafe in everything they do and wish them contunued success in Portsmouth. Thank you again for another wonderful brunch.

Lovely place to eat 100% plant based food. My son loved the banana pancakes. The fact you can have breakfast food at lunchtime is brilliant. I did try the blueberry milkshake and I absolutely loved it. We will definitely coming back. I highly recommend this place.
