While visiting friends that live in the local area we headed to the Salt Cafe for brunch. Excellent service and we managed to get a table straight away. Now the important part, the food. Not bad, not a bad size and price not bad also. One nip pick, I would like my bacon & sausage cooked either fresh or fresher than I received it. I understand they part or fully cook and the warm through but mine was a tad dry. Overall the whole time, food was good.

First visit - breakfast with a few people from work.. Excellent welcome was cheerful and welcoming.. service great with quick drinks whilst we waited for a latecomer. Breakfast was excellent all well cooked and fresh… 10/10 for the excellent quality sausages. Price fine for quality. First visit, but not the last.

Fantastic coffee, the spiced apple cake was amazing and the views are spectacular. It is quite tucked away but well worth seeking out. I took the coastal walk to Porchester Castle which was great - variety of terrain and scenery, great for dogs but not very buggy friendly tbh - and it was just about right, not too long not too short.

A bit pricey but the cafe is lovely, delicious food and sea views make this a wonderful little spot for a treat. The toilets aren’t so nice sadly as shared access with marina and didn’t seem particularly clean.

The food was excellent. The chips are outstanding. Really good allergy awareness. Gluten free bread available. Beautiful view and excellent service.

Really good food and good service, with a couple of caveats: Really busy every day, book if you can or be prepared for a wait for a table; The food tends to be more restaurant prices rather than cafe prices and the menu is quite limited. However, the views are nice and the food can be really good - this time we went for the disco fries and bacon, sausage and egg sandwich. The sandwich was exceptional, possibly the best I've had. Would come again but not too regularly.

Excellent little cafe by the sea. I found it a little expensive, but the quality of the food was excellent. The service was unbeatable and there is also an option to sit outside on a hot day. Its a popular place so you aren't always guaranteed a parking space. You might have to park down the road and walk up, but it's worth it.

A firm favourite of mine on the south coast, I’ve visited here a couple of times and most recently found out they’ve extended.. rightly so! Great customer service, reasonable prices, lots of seating and dog friendly. The toilets are in a separate building just down a walkway outside of the cafe itself but it’s not an issue. I’ve heard so much about their sausage rolls.. I just wish there was a veggie one!
