   Popped in late this afternoon for a break from the torrential rain. We each had a drink, enjoying a small decaff hazelnut latte and a small Americano. We were both pleased with our drinks. The Costa was very modern and clean. We both went to the toilet and these were very clean also. Recommended.

   Two very rude female members of staff today. Very unwelcoming and no customer service skills whatsoever! Never felt this way before strong enough to put a google review on for a coffee! But I felt I had too!

   Staff was friendly and shop was clean but the big problem with Costa is coffee quality. The coffee quality is very low compared to other brands. Another issue is coffee cups, they don’t have specific cup for flat white and they use same amount of milk that they use for regular cappuccino for flat white!!!!

   Employee named Max was very rude and quite cold to us. However was very nice and courtes to the English people who came in behind us. Usually quite happy with the service here as it’s our local branch. Never experience this before here and it’s the first time someone made us feel out of place.

   Normally a nice place to go. Yesterday it's was an unpleasant place. A member of staff getting annoyed with customers who were more than 1 metre apart (tier one - extra precautions face mask/increased ventilation (door was open) but not on the special floor spots that were in place from the old 2 meter rule! Lack of staff awareness of the rules or non updated company policy - unsure. There was a child - who was either a member of staffs or who knew the child - allowed the child to get within centimetres of customers food that was on the counter, and breathe all over it - then allowed the child to go behind the counter - which given all the electrical appliances and hot water etc surly is a major breach of heath and safety, and general disregard for child safety. The service by the 2 members of staff on duty was the slowest I've seen it in this branch. The Costa experience is normally to a good and high level, however yesterday afternoon in this branch, this was not the case.

   Friendly staff gave me advice about an offer they had which I thought was great seeing as they were quite busy. I bought a large Costa thermos flask for £7.50 and was able to choose any hot medium drink for free. They said each time I visit any Costa cafe in future, I could have any hot drink I like with 25p off as long as I bring and show them the thermos! Had been meaning to buy one just for personal use so was pretty pleased about this! Looking forward to going again one day
