   We came here for Sunday dinner. The pub was hard to contact as their number and website booking system are not working. We however, got a table easily. The food was nice. I highly recommend the Prawns and Halloumi starters. They were very nice. The food is decent pub grub. The only negative was one of the burger patties was pretty rare in the middle compared to the others. Ironically, I quite like medium rare meat so didn’t mind. The problem is generally the food needs to be cooked to the same level unless otherwise stated I feel the back dining room was a bit bland. The heating was very cold. A lot of people were leaving coats on as it was a bit brisk. Not too much to be a problem but definitely cold side. Overall, it was a great meal and a good place to visit. Nothing especially amazing but that’s what a pub should be, very decent and reliable place for pub grub.

   Local pub to where we stayed, it was not surprised that the owner didn’t recommend the place. The mains are quite expensive so are the kids ones. We had a seafood platter. It tasted ok and not as big potion you would expect for the price. Crayfish were quite blunt and prawns weren’t that fresh. Chicken goujon and chips are quite nice, but there are not vegetables for the kids. Pub itself is quite small, décor probably needs an update. Some customers there are quite loud and used inappropriate language around children. No parking for the pub but you can park nearby.

   A Tuesday lunchtime...delightful, friendly staff and such good, reasonably priced food!! The chicken and ham pie was sensational, and Eton Mess (pictured) glorious. Also reasonable was the wine list (£20 for house red & white), though rosé a bit pricey.... Can't recommend this place enough!

   So… from the outside it’s unassuming but the restaurant and staff are amazing. I had the mushroom on ciabatta for starter which was delicious, children had kids meal Burgers and the meat was good quality. Worthy as a main for an adult. The chicken and mushroom main was also fantastic. Can’t fault them, service was attentive and welcoming.

   Wonderful pub, great food and excellent beer. My wife and l called in for lunch, we both had the gammon steak and hand-cut chips from the specials board and it was delicious. Beautifully cooked; the chargrilled gammon steak was a good 1.5cms thick, and the chips were large and generously portioned. The steaks were topped off with two fried eggs, perfectly cooked. Garden peas completed the presentation. The seasonal beer l had (Pickled Santa) was beautiful too. Service was impeccable and very friendly. Highly recommended.

   A lovely clean pub with a really good food menu. We settled for the burger and a vegetarian pizza. Both were amazing. Washed down by a Newcastle brown ale and Old moot. The pub is also dog friendly. When in Bosham give this pub a go . You will love it. Excellent and very friendly service as well.
