   I had a Christmas meal in there recently and I would be embarrassed to serve it up. There were not enough staff on duty, and it was hard to know what was what on the plate. The roast potatoes turned up as just boiled potatoes, that looked as though they had just been dipped in fat. Brown on one side of the sprouts and also the single carrot. It was not easy to tell the difference between the sausage/bacon and the stuffing on the plate. They had the money in advance so why should they care about the poor meals. I am not a chef but could have done better myself. I wonder if they even had a chef on the day I visited.

   I went into the foundry tonight expecting a good night. We went to the toilet and got told by a bar staff that we could leave our drinks by the bar and that they'd look after them. However, when we came out of the toilet, we couldnt see them. We walk up to the bar lady and asked her politely where our drinks were but we were rudly greated and told if they were left unattended then they would throw them, but we didnt leave our drinks unattended we were told we could leave them there. After the rude bar lady said some more horrible stuff, my friend said that theres no need to be rude. This blonde bar lady starts swearing at us and being aggressive, by wich we left and notified the bouncers. By no means were we drunk, we had only drunk half a drink as the other half was thrown away. To the lady who greeted us, in your line of work you need to be politer and more patient, there was no need to go off on an 18 year old when she said nothing rude to you! Speaking from experience as a bar staff, you should never greet the public with such hostility as you did and understand that words have impact. Honestly she ruined our night

   Please avoid this place if you are not white and English. I was refused service because I had a hat on. Yet there were others seated and being served with hats on. When I questioned the staff about their policy they defended it and only enforced the policy on me. This was my experience as multi-racial tourist visiting this town and establishment.

   Visited The Boundary for a catch up with family members. It looked like it had recently been refurbished. Great garden setting which was popular on a sunny day. Outside had a bar which was handy. Inside was nicely decorated and the toilets were clean and tidy. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and there were lots of people there for the football. Inside they have lots of TV'S with all the sport being shown. There was football and rugby on and good setting areas to watch this. I think it's a popular spot over the weekend for this purpose. There was a mixture all different age groups and it seemed a nice atmosphere. A great location as Chichester Bus and Train Stations are directly next door. Only a short walk into the town centre.

   Came to visit Chichester to have a wander round with partner and dog, we thought we would pop in for a quick drink whilst we wait for the next train. On entry, we were immediately made to feel inadequate due to coming through the incorrect entrance (no notice to say it was no entry but we were made to feel bad anyway), we shook that off but when ordering us both a beverage I was told to take my hat off (in front of other customers)?! I questioned this following the pouring rain all day to be told they had a ‘no hat policy’ due to a drug/CCTV issue. This ‘policy’ is highly discriminatory, giving an assumption that I don’t have a religious or medical reason etc for wearing a hat in the first place. On a quiet Tuesday afternoon with only a handful of other customers providing business, I find this highly unprofessional and unwelcoming, particularly so close to a transport link.

   I have been into this place regularly during the day for football games and always had a nice experience. However tonight I was declined entry because of a dress code that isn’t advertised anywhere… this is a pub in Chichester… it’s not legally a night club and every other venue in chi is happy to let you in no matter what your wearing. It seems wrong to dress people by what they’re wearing for a simple pub with music. It’s not the security guys fault they’re just following guides of upper management and they feel bad doing it too because it’s wrong in this day and age. Not a good experience to be honest.

   Last rated by me 4 years ago! Visited again last Saturday lunchtime. Great service and atmosphere and beer selection. Convenient for the train station while waiting for the next train home, but he prepared to make that the next one!

   It's not too bad. Call me old and boring but it was much better when it was the Globe and had pool tables and good ale. Now due to Chichesters dwindling places to drink out and boogie it's now become the hub for people off their nut to gather. The last time I went it was absolutely rammed in there and edgy to say the least.

   Burnt beef, gristly pork and dry potatoes. Was told there wasn't crackling but then there was when it arrived - just very rubbery! Service inadequate - no one asked us how the food was or made any attempt to rectify the issues we had. When the plates arrived the waitress didn't even say what was on them just put them down... We had to check what we were being served! No one came to clear our plates after our meal either... Clearly avoiding having to check in with us. Would not return here, even for a drink.
