   Wonderful people and a truly fantastic team! On Saturday mornings they welcome guests with a proper breakfast – great value, hearty, and absolutely delicious. The portions are huge and very satisfying. I can’t recommend The Stag highly enough – Karen and her team are simply fantastic

   Lovely old pub top end of New Road, big large bar sadly no real ale on offer so had to opt for John Smiths, friendly welcoming staff, nice and clean and plenty of comfortable seating. Very quiet for a Saturday night but playing some 50s and 60s on the juke box. Worth a visit near to the Winchester Arms and Mermaid too so could have a good sesh here not forgetting The Druids and Graham Arms.
