Just reopened after a very intensive refurbishment, a lot of quality work has gone into this venue and it shows, very impressive. A lovely manager with a great team working with him to make this pub extremely welcoming. Food delicious and expertly prepared. Many televisions inside and out, interactive dart boards and pool table.
What a transformation of the pub, lovely decor, new seating arrangements, all so very lovely. We booked a table & had an evening meal. The food was good & lovely and hot. Staff are very helpful too.
My first time visiting in a very long time, and I must saying there is a massive improvement, across all bases! George the new manager is doing an incredible job, felt very welcome as soon as I walked through the door! The atmosphere in there is 10 timers better than it used to be! I'll 100% recommend to anyone. Will most certainly be visiting again!
There was confusion with the order at first as the tables had been moved around and the waitress did not know where to deliver the food, but we didn’t wait too long and it was nice when it arrived. Build your own burger for £5 on a Wednesday was excellent value.
Real pub feel with a food option, they have a great garden with TV in all areas for football. There's a genuine good feel about the place
New Landlord has taken over at the Green Post and what a difference! The food was great, and brilliant value, service is friendly and fast, will definitely return.
Awful service slow drink service but food arrived in fair time however two meals were cold which were sent back. to be told the chef said one was the correct temperature other meal was returned and told its been heated up a bit !!! Did receive a refund for two meals but very unimpressed Was supposed to be a nice family meal but even the meals that were not cold were burnt and not very nice will not be returning anytime soon also the male toilets need a good clean the toilets by the pool table are out of order. but the other toilets are filthy the toilet doesn't even have a seat the whole place even the garden just seems neglected
Had Christmas day meal here, service a little slow but was in no rush, perfect family day with home cooked food
Ordered on the app. Wasn’t told that there was an issue with the app at time of seating. Waited 20 mins for drinks. I had to go up to the bar to find out where our drinks were to be told there was an issue with the till. I enquired if there was going to be an issue with the food and was informed there wasn’t and the order had gone threw to the kitchen. 45 mins after placing initial order still no food!!! Was asked if we ordered on app and I had said we had however we was told there wasn’t an issue. I was then informed the food was all plated up and was just sitting there. Unacceptable service. I would understand if this restaurant was very busy but it wasn’t. We were the only ones to have ordered food. I am a restaurant manager and this is totally unacceptable. I visit many green kings pub this is by far the worse I have ever been in Avoid at all costs
