   Just had Christmas lunch at the Robbin Hood yesterday. Couldn’t fault it the food was great. I had the best prawn cocktail I can remember having for a starter .Packed with prawns. All great food and meal. The service was great. The staff were really attentive and helpful. I don’t frequent pubs as don’t drink but also recently went in for a latte that was very good. Very nice and a decent size. The decor is quite nicely done and the place is spacious. For my 2 recent experiences in there it’s a five!

   Had a sunday roast here after a lovely rainy dog walk with the family. The pub was very welcoming and the food was incredible. Couldn’t even make room for pudding!!! Fantastic job guys, thank you very much.

   AT LAST over the past few months we have found a decent pub/ restaurant that serves up tasty food EVERY time. Sunday lunches the best around we wouldn't go anywhere else. We are a family of seven. Relaxing, laid back environment with staff making you feel extra special. Today we were treated by a great singer too. And a special thank you for making me a lemon posset which was devine.    Always heard about the roasts here and finally got the chance to try. WOW, best roast we’ve ever had, portions are huge and absolutely delicious. Service from start to finish was impeccable! Joel was so helpful and always checking in with our little one. Compliments to all the chefs today! Highly recommend, will be returning! Thanks Robin Hood Staff!

   I was in on Sunday 26th lunch time. Where can I start the food was disgusting. The management were rude to their staff and also me when speaking to him about the food (Luke). Food wasn’t what I was most upset about it was the fact that I felt so guilty for the poor young girl as he not only shouted at her in front of the whole restaurant but most probably out back as well absolutely discusting. The poor girl who I won’t name was absolutely lovely and done everything she could possibly do to help us and make our lunch nice. Robin Hood you need to sort your management out as I’ve never had a problem with managers before when the lady was here but I don’t know her name.

   Sampled both the normal and the Sunday lunch menus here, both were excellent and of a high standard. The landlord and staff were very attentive and friendly, definitely a great place to both eat and relax - no pressure whatsoever to vacate tables in a set timescale. We will return!

   Service with an attitude. We were recommended this place by our Airbnb host so had high expectations and we’re looking forward to it. Unfortunately the whole evening was a poor experience. Unhelpful staff who clearly didn’t want to be there. Long wait our starters to come out. Long wait again for mains to come out, and when they did come only 2 of the 4 meals came along with one meal from another table. Rather than taking the food back, they left us with the 2 mains and then we waited 15 minutes for the other 2 to come out. No acknowledgment of this, no explanation of what was going on, no apology or attempt to tell us how long we’d be waiting. We were left with no cutlery so the two who had food couldn’t even start eating. No offer to compensate on the bill and just received awful attitude from the waitress when we said we didn’t feel happy paying the full price. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

   We had a lovely stay at the robin hood and were very impressed with the cleanliness and décor of the room. The staff were very attentive and we did eat there on two occasions for lunch and dinner the food was superb. We will certainly be booking again nearer to Christmas for another stay.
