   What an absolute gem of a pub and restaurant and probably my favorite pub to visit. Such an incredible position on the waters edge at the mouth of portsmouth Harbour with lots of windows to watch the action on the water outside which includes amongst other things the Naval aircraft carriers and various giant cruise ships sailing past within touching distance. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the staff are really welcoming. The food and drink selection is excellent and they do a brilliant Sunday roast. If you are visiting Portsmouth then this is a must see as it is in the heart of historic old portsmouth so the ideal place to stop and soak up the views whilst having a drink and a bite to eat.

   Perfect spot in Portsmouth Harbour - right next to the Wightlink terminal, close to the Spinnaker Tower, and with Brittany Ferries sailing right past, making for some great photo opportunities. The service is good, and so is the food. It can get quite busy, so you might have to wait a little, but it’s definitely worth it. We had a few hours to spare and ended up at The Still & West: a place we’d already spotted from the ferry when arriving in Portsmouth.    Amazing location, views forged though time. Historic and made best by excellent staff, particularly Shah who looked after us on two recent visits. The menu is as wonderful when paired with one of their fine wines in stock.

   Nothing beats sitting in a pub on the edge of Portsmouth Harbour watching the ships go past so close that you can almost touch them. Add to that a varied menu to suit most tastes and you’re on to a winner. Food was excellent, service spot on, and on a warm sunny day you can make the most of the outside seating area.

   Fantastic venue right on the quays of Portsmouth. We got there after sundown on a chilly December day but the views of the Spinnaker and the town all lit up are amazing! Lovely service and good food. There were plenty of office Christmas parties going on so very boisterous atmosphere. We were glad we'd booked early. The sharing platter of fish to start was delicious and the fish and chips as main course was over generous - too much to eat! Unfortunately the mini sticky toffee pudding tasted more like burnt treacle but their special buffalo ice-cream is really good.

   Amazing atmosphere if you sit outside with view towards the water. The fish and chips is great, good quality and quantity. However, the mozzarella salad I had did not seem to have enough tomatoes or mozzarella on it. Overall great experience and I recommend it :)

   The views from this restaurant on the first floor across the harbour are amazing, the food is reasonably priced and is good quality. Would highly recommend a visit for the views alone, good food and beer is an added bonus. In the summer it is great to be able to sit out side and watch all the boats and ships going by.

   We had a lovely family lunch here after a dip in the sea. We love the fact that you can just watch the world (and ferries) go by. Lovely seating inside and out and a good menu to choose from. We had Mushrooms on toasted brioche, a poached egg and hollandaise sauce, and the gorgeous burgers. Lovely friendly staff too. Well worth a visit!
