   Great little pub friendly atmosphere and staff. the Wed quiz that's on every other week is good fun gets your brain working it's a normal quiz not the speed quizzes that are about and the play your cards right that's on a sun eve is great fun xx I am not a pub person but this one is lovey

   Nice married couple behind the bar greeting you with a warm welcome in this local corner pub,( sadly no meal but a good selection of nibbles not just one type of crisp ( in an assortment of flavours) they had my favourite T bone steak flavour which I enjoyed with a drink outside in the enclosed planted back garden ( not just a bit of grass with benches on it ) the prices are good too will pop in again when over that way .

   Popped for a swift pint because we were early for something nearby. After the initial huh? Looks that newbies often garner of those gathered round the bar everyone was smiley. They stoked the real fire for us. Would have stayed longer had it been possible.
