   We were told to order a taxi (later clarified the landlady meant for later that evening) straight after walking in and sitting down, the landlady asked us to monitor the door for anyone we didn't know (we were attending a private event because she didn't want to let them in, but the pub wasn't closed for event's exclusive use), my mum was told by the landlady that she didn't really want to do the event, and the jukebox has a sign on it telling you when it turns off. The bar staff were lovely however, but I think I will avoid this place going forward because I don't think it should be on paying customers to monitor the doors and I think we should be trusted enough to sort our own transport at the end of the night.à

   I love this pub, it’s small and the staff there are great! The first time I went they were very welcoming and now I keep recommending raven to friends, drinks are a good price too, especially for a student.

   Great "estate" pub. Can feel a little daunting if your face is not known, but to be honest everyone is lovely unless you act like a tw*t! Great selection of beer and spirits at very reasonable prices. Outside area containing a patio for socialising/smoking, also a pool table in its own building accessed through the patio.

   Went here twice to go for a pee, got a half a pint each time. Not my sort of place at all. I'm glad that some people like it, but to be honest it's just a bog standard building with a bar and a few TVs rather than proper pub. Luckily I left the premises unscathed, on both occasions.
