I went to the Wheatsheaf with Fareham Ladies Club for our Christmas get together. The food was delicious and plentiful. I had steak chasseur, the steak was perfectly cooked. At the last minute I decided I wanted a cheese board. That came out within minutes, despite it being a very busy night for the staff. A fantastic night, with great company in a pub with a great atmosphere. Thank you, Mark, for being such a fabulous host.

What a welcoming and friendly pub this is! From the moment we walked in we were met with friendly faces and lively chat around the bar. I was visiting and I have been to many pubs over the years but I can honestly say this is one of the most welcome pubs I have ever visited! Nice bar too.

Just back from a brilliant lunch. Great well priced menu and fantastic service. Good range of local ale too. The fish and homemade chips were so tasty. Highly recommend this place in the lovely village of Titchfield

I'd like to give 4.5 stars and the only reason I'd knock off half a star is because the full dining room became a bit noisy as there aren't any soft furnishings to absorb sound. Nevertheless, we had a delicious Sunday roast there - the roast potatoes and parsnips were wonderfully seasoned and cooked, and Yorkshire puddings came with all meats (which I was pleased about as I had roast chicken!). We then had scrummy pud's to follow, despite being full already! The standard of food was really exceptional. The landlord gave us a warm welcome and all the staff were friendly and gave great service. We'd definitely go back.

I have eaten here many times over the last few years with my partner. Great food one of the best pubs I have eaten and I have eaten in a lot! Very friendly team with great sense of humor. I love the small tapas plates great for a bit of English Mediterranean and even Thai food. Must mention the steaks again very good quality indeed. Again the Sunday roasts are first class to get anything on a par you would need to go the Hawks more in London. If you are in the area make you you give it a try you wont regret it.

An impromptu meal out with a friend, having always had a good reputation with family members being chefs thought we’d try it ! The service was super friendly, professional & knowledgeable, the waitress knew her menu! The food was top notch, it tasted like it had been cooked by a fab chef, presentation was great! Thank you

Rude embarrassing staff ! food gone seriously downhill and expensive. A customer shouted put it on a lead ( none of his business that I walked in with my dog Heidi) I replied no. Landlord asked me so I did leave returned dog to home ( as I had no lead being alsation professionally trained ). Correct words and politeness dog or human isn't difficult. On returning asked Landlord politely if the man mentioned could have manners as not staff and was told to leave . Cannot understand the wrong I had done being honest after regulars told me it's gone downhill should of taken the advice.
