    Called in the White Horse with a group of friends after a longish walk. Didn't make a booking. We received a warm welcome from the staff and locals . Nice relaxed bar. Decided to partake in thier Sunday Roast. Chose beef, which was served promptly, nicely presented, and, more importantly, was tasty and reasonably priced. Would definitely go again.

    Recently taken over by Darren and Kelly hugely popular couple who used to manage the Cob and Pen a few years back. Great friendly atmosphere with a very warm welcome. Delighted this old hostelry in Wallington has a new breath of life. Looking forward to many more great nights ahead.

    Staff where rude, argumentative, and rasist towards my friends calling him "dark chocolate". I find this disgusting and utterly disrespectful. I do not recommend!.

    Bearing in mind it was only 1oclock on a Sunday, they had already had no fish items, you would have expected this late afternoon after a busy lunch!! & My roast was left off the order, so I had to wait, the roast potatoes were soggy, very disappointed & hubby's steak on his full monty was overcooked!!

    Came here for a leaving do unfortunately didn't have a full range of beers available due to the brewery dray hadn't turned up ( I'd have been chasing the brewery sooner). Asked about food but that was unavailable as well (no chef). That was a shame. A quieter pub than the cobb and Penn just a short walk away which is frequented by the locals.
