Atmosphere is great. Service depends on who's working Chloe, Jamie and Dan are amazing and interact with their customers. They don't do food but can bring your own snacks in
Went to the comedy night and it was great. Atmosphere was wonderful and land lady was amazing. Definitely recommend have fun at your local pub
I ate crisps so five stars obvs love crisps. Good pub, bit pricey I thought and defo a locals pub, everyone knew each other and shared inside jokes. Not for the fading hearted think ex builders n plumbers and you are on the right track. Darts team n a quality dj Bowser go join in. I will go back but it's a bit far from me to be a regular.
Down to earth local pub. No frills or fancies but good value and good pint of Staropramen. Artiste was loud but hey that's Saturday night!

Lovely little pub. Great outside area and staff are very friendly. Little gem in centre of town.
As the pub is run by Craft Union expect cheaper drinks akin to Wetherspoons prices ie pint, large gin and white wine about 10 quid. No real ale on offer today normally they have London Pride, so John Smith's was the choice for me plenty of large and cider and gin if you want etc. TV screens on mute, so the music dominated a busy Friday night attracting mainly locals but a few passing trade. If you had enough of the pub you can pop to The Mars next door. Now the Painters is the only pub left in Lake Road that once had 23 pubs.....check it out if you like boozers.
