Multiple meals came out burnt and overcooked. (2 cod and chips were overcooked) (3 kids chicken burgers were burnt and still brought out). Also waited over an hour for a kids pasta meal. The stand in manager this evening was rude and was heard swearing about our table. Would never come again!

Absolutely appalled by the quality of food and service received. Table for 17 for celebrating Christmas and the food received was a disgrace. Over a hour for food to come out (all different times) Children’s chicken burgers burnt, fish and chips burnt. Two identical meals received differently. Flavourless and overdone. Informed the pre order we provided was incorrect and that was the reason for the poor food. Only offered a refund on children’s dinners that were refused and 10% off. That’s all that could be done. Then for the children to hear staff and the manager swearing about our table. Manager was rude and did not deal with the situation well, only became defensive and walked away when the party were trying to explain the quality of the food. Embarrassment for the Parsons Collar.

The service was fantastic, informative. The food was quick, however the burger was full of grease, bacon hardly cooked. The pizza was equally just as greasy. Very limited options of drinks most seemed to be out of stock.

This is a regular stop off when I cross the channel by ferry. It's a nice building with ample outside seating which is very popular in warmer weather. It's always busy so I book. The food is not high end, but good. Last time I had a chicken fillet burger which was dry, this time I had pulled pork chips with cheese and crispy beef. Good sized portions and tasty. I ordered at the table and service was efficient once the server found me. Drinks are expensive a 250ml glass of white wine was £10.50. The thing i love about this place is that it is very dog friendly and has a circular woodland walk just by the car park which is excellent for exercising dogs before going on a ferry. I always come here and will continue to do so.

There is now a barrier across the car park entrance that opens automatically, then registrations have to be logged at either the hotel or the Parsons Collar. The two Blue Badge spaces to the left of the entrance are not specifically allocated so can be used for the bar or lodge guests. The pub is geared for sports with plenty of large screens. There is an outdoor rear garden area and ample indoor seating. The menu is varied and mostly routine pub grub. No clear character decoration so feels quite minimalistic and canteenish. Service was friendly and orders accurate for a party of 12.

Very clean and spacious environment and obviously popular, food is served and looked good but we were only here for a few drinks before moving on. They had a good selection of beers and those we tried we're all very good would happily come back again.

Popped in for lunch before our spa break. Had burgers with sweet potato fries. Absolutely delicious. Staff polite and friendly. Warm and cosy atmosphere. Christmas tunes playing. Ideal way to start the weekend.

There's nothing like a pint after football. Vibes were good and there is a great outdoor area, a few tables have small TV's for that personal viewing and there is also a big screen. Bar staff were friendly and helpful. Not sure on the food though or pricing, only stopped for a quick Pint.
