Stay Clear Took a car in for track day Janspeed de-cat manifold/downpipe to be fitted - said it was fine to do when dropped the car off. Collected the Car and got charged but they decided they couldn't do it by law-Not sure that's true ??-Why agree in the first place ??
These guys are great, they are good value and honest. They happily explain what they are doing and are really accommodating. Can't fault them!
We decided to use this garage for the first time seeing as it’s local to us and forever in the search of a reliable and trustworthy mechanic. My husband took our car here for an MOT, we were informed it failed on 2 things. We were quoted that it would be around £5-600 for full repair, including re MOT and that it would be ready mid week. We were called early the next week to say that the work had already been completed and that the total cost was over £1000. Anticipating the total cost to be around £600 maximum, we were totally shocked. Not only at this amount but also that the repairs had already been carried out despite no further update on change of quote. The car itself probably values at £3000 so to not be updated on this drastic cost change for our second run around car was ridiculous. I cannot comment on the quality of repairs carried out but purely on the fact repairs of such a high cost were already completed. Will not be using again, purely on this fact alone.
I had a clutch burnout. the RAC towed me to priory garage Thursday lunch time they don't work Saturday or Sunday I got my car back early Monday morning new clutch fitted at a good price FANTASTIC service 11/10
