Use Appliance quite a few times over the year pleasant owner delivers and takes away old appliances nothing to much trouble very reasonable prices too
If i could give a 0 i would, called to order a washer, i live in a flat first floor, he said he dumps them downstairs so he sugested i went somewhere else if i wanted it taken to my flat, i did i went to davud bury, washer delivered and umed in and old one taken away without lifting a finger, good old fashioned service xx and a two year guarantee
Great place loads of appliances spoilt for choice but got what we wanted. Good friendly advice would definitely recommend and shop there again. Better than the high street big boys.
This guy get NIL stars yes nil if i could leave NIL. Family member bought a washer from him. 9 months later the washer bearings failed. She went back to the shop looking for the receipt and record from the guys computer. She knew the date purchased and price paid.He denied ever selling it and said nothing to do with him. Not only is this guy breaking the law and not making records of transactions. HES A CONMAN. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Shocking attitude instore. went in following day to do a price match as clearly states on Van and Website (we will not be beaten on price) fridge freezer was £319.99 instore and found online for £299.99 with Free next day delivery & collection free of old appliane with other retailer. Told owner & he said he cant price match it. I said id rather purchase locally but he was dismisive to the point he never had any counter offer just repeated cant price match it. I reffered him to the rather missleading price match promise to be told we can only price match certain items. it was a £20 diff in price. Just amazed how uninterested he could be over a potential £300 sale. Buisness must be booming to have such an attitude.
After buying 3 fridge freezers had phone call to say would be a 2 week wait for 2 of them which was not a problem. Another phone call 2 weeks later to say would be and 2 to 4 weeks, then another 2 weeks later to say could be up to 6 weeks! Was offered an alternative that we were told was exactly the same. When it was delivered was very unpleasant and not happy to help at all and on unpacking it is not the sane as original one at all. Would not recommend this shop to anyone at all. Very poor after sales service.
We are very dissatisfied with the after service we have experienced from this company...has anyone else experienced any difficulties at all? We had a cooker delivered and ended up with damage to our newly laid laminate flooring and also to the new cooker which matches the damaged floor ...my husband contacted the man and he said it wasn't caused by him and then when asked how it can be resolved his answer was "you have house insurance don't you!".... We have emailed them direct and had no reply so we then messaged privately on here 7 days ago and also had no reply ...we're very upset and annoyed to be treat this way and feel he took our money and now isn't bothered about the damage we have been left with. We would never recommend Appliance World to anyone and will be sharing our experience with everyone possible as we wouldn't want anyone else to have the experience we have had. Please BEWARE!!!!! ......
Purchased all of my major kitchen appliances from Craig, really happy with the service, he was very helpful in choosing the products and gave recommendations to suit my budget. Sorted out delivery for the following week, was given an hours time slot on my chosen evening and he arrived on time. Can not get service or prices like this from the national companies or buying online - can not fault Appliance World at all and will definitely recommend to others!
The big bloke that took my order was nice and friendly. Then after he had my money for a washer and a gas cooker he did not want to know. Faulty cooker but when asked what he could about the fault he said we bought it 30 days ago although it got delivered 5 days before we went in. Puts you off buying local as a superstore would not be so rude and unhelpful. Will never use again and actively go out my way to deter others from using this shop also.
