Too busy chasing new accounts and don't look after the ones they have. Need to reward long standing account holders more. In response to yours Harriet, it's Howdens in general. As a trade customer for the past 15 years you don't get any extra discount to a customer that has just signed up to spend £20 & get a free gift usually worth £80-£100. The powers that be at the highest point need to listen to the customers that have been buying for the last 10-20years. When trades ring and ask for a price they want the absolute best price available. We don't have time to negotiate and waste any time. Don't get me started on worktops. You have massive warehouses yet don't sell 4m worktops. Also store them upside down as they are then stored tension side down and don't resemble a banana. Even the leaflet inside the doors say to store flat. Howdens store them upright ??? Feel free to contact me direct.!
I had a big kitchen fitted. cooker I got from them leeks so bad I ran up 5 times in less then year. And still it's leaking give up now.
