Absolutely disappointed, ordered 2 medium coffees with cream got half a medium and barely any cream. Could literally pour one into the other cup and just fill it. Pictures are before I even drank any!
The only Starbucks I've been to that charges for puppachinos - impressive levels of penny-pinching. Every other outlet manages to give dogs a free cup of whipped cream, but apparently that's a step too far here. It was 70p a few months ago, now it's 50p - glad to see the pricing strategy for a thimble of cream is so dynamic. With everyone struggling financially, deciding to monetise a dog treat feels especially tone-deaf.
I came her with a group of friends on Thursday 9th October. We arrived at 7:15pm, the store states its closing time is 8:30pm. Upon arrival, the staff were getting ready for closing and the chairs /tables on one side of the table were unable to be used which was a little bit inconvenient to us as we were another group having to gather around smaller tables. We ordered our drinks and were given to go cups. We sat down, enjoyed our drinks and had a catch up. The store began to get busier during this time with more customers coming in and some of those were given normal mugs to drink out of which irritated me as I was not given the option. At 8pm my friend, who had not ordered her drink initially, went to order a drink. She was met with attitude by a staff member who told her the store was now closed. My friend said that online it states the store closes at 8:30pm, to which the staff member replied “well we will be closed when everyone gets out”. She begrudgingly took my friends order, telling her she can’t have coffee because the machine had been cleaned. My friend ordered a Frappuccino. The staff member shouted across to another staff member to ask ‘if they could do that’. Eventually, my friend got her drink but as she sat back down we felt we were being watched and the staff member was consistently checking her watch. We left the store at 8:10pm - 20 minutes before it was scheduled to close and she locked the door behind us. The drive thru was also closed off. I love Starbucks, I am a gold member, I try all the new and season drinks, however I don’t think I’ll be returning to this store.
The usual affair offered by Starbucks. Friendly staff and decent coffee, if overpriced, but that’s Starbucks for you! It’s not the biggest shop ever, but does have quite a busy drive thru as it’s right on the main road and next to a petrol station.
As a Starbucks customer, I recently had the pleasure of being served by an exceptional barista named Shelby. From the moment I walked into the store, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel welcome. I placed my order, and Shelby immediately began working on it. She was efficient and fast, but still took the time to ensure that my drink was made just the way I liked it. Her attention to detail and dedication to her craft was truly impressive. As I waited for my drink, I noticed that Shelby was also engaging with other customers in a friendly and helpful manner. She seemed to have a genuine interest in making sure everyone was happy and satisfied with their experience at the store. When my drink was ready, Shelby handed it to me with a smile and a kind word. I took a sip and was blown away by how delicious it was. It was clear that she had put a lot of care and effort into making it. Overall, my experience at Starbucks that day was fantastic, and it was largely due to the excellent service provided by Shelby. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a welcoming atmosphere.
Shockingly poor service. The few staff clearly have never worked in this environment before. Service took an age, my partner arrived after me, 15 minutes after ordering and questioning the arrival time was told the order had been forgotten. Such a shame as the fit out is fine.
Not enough staff to keep up with the drive thru and people drinking inside. Tables full of empty cups and plates, half eaten food etc. As a consequence of the above, it took 5-10 minutes until attended to at the till, then told because they hadn't had a chance to wash the cups you could only be served drinks in single-use take out cups.
Not a good experience, I normally look forward to going to Starbucks but I was served by a rude woman with green hair at the till. Each drink seemed an issue and very snappy about what we asked for, especially when we went at a quite time been the only one in there. Made us feel very unwelcome, we where going to sit in but decided to vacate after been made to feel awkward. Also noted she didn’t speak to her colleague respectfully. Will not return to this Starbucks, I expect to be served in a pleasant manner, more so when paying £10 for 2 drinks.
