   Cannot fault the food, other than the hairs in my egg and the rude old lady behind the counter. Wouldn’t accept it didn’t wear a hair net! Didn’t offer an apology.

   Good old fashioned English breakfast, i totally agree.....but cost almost £40 for 1 large breakfast and 2 mediums! There were items that we didn't want and asked for them to be replaced with a slice of toast and got refused? We had to pay for the entire meal offered without said items PLUS THE 'EXTRA' TOAST?? Most cafes offer at least 1 beverage with a meal but not here for some reason. The absolute no-no for us was the 20p charge for sauce!! Food was good but we won't be a returning customer sadly, too expensive.

   It’s a lovely tradition cafe / restaurant with a lot of Charme. The people who work there are very friendly and made us feel welcome. Well.. and for the food: see for yourself. You’ll get a damn good breakfast for your money. This was a great start for our journey to Scotland. Highly recommend!

   The type of place where everyone knows everyone. There was a couple of women sitting at the table next to us who kept staring and listening to our conversation. This made me feel uncomfortable. There wasn't much choice for vegetarians so I had a jacket potato, cheese and beans. It was a big portion however the beans were nearly cold and the potato was hard.
