I got a takeaway breakfast box this morning and it was disgusting. Two sausage (rock hard) obviously warmed up. Bacon was awful, fried egg with broken yokes. It cost nearly a tenner. I won't be going back.

Grand little café, nicely situated. Not a lot of on road parking but still easily accessible. Staff all welcoming and prompt service. Food is always first rate and hard to decide what to have. Home made dishes and puddings absolutely delicious. Short wait as food prepared to order. A good thing in my opinion. Good quality tea and coffee. Prices fine.

Holidaying in the beautiful Ridings of East Yorkshire, we couldn't wait to try one of the cafes - this one, in the beautiful village of South Cave. Although we only had afternoon drinks and cakes, we will certainly be back for breakfast. Prompt service, proper portions and reasonable prices. As Southern Softies, we're simply not used to this kind of quality! And the best thing? The fact that the locals (who clearly know they're on a good thing) will actually strike-up a conversation, rather than stare at the floor, which is what they would do in the cafes around us. Absolute gem which we were delighted to find. (And our dog was even catered for with a free treat... she can't wait to go back either!)

Decided to take my little boy here as a treat as it’s local and had good reviews. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the food which I felt was very basic and overpriced. The beef on my salad looked dry and there was hardly any of it. Not worth over £10. The child’s sandwich just didn’t look remotely appealing. The strawberry milkshake wasn’t even pink. It just looked like milk topped with cream where I was expecting actual milkshake consistency. Sorry to say, I personally will not be back.

Jaffa cake cheesecake was 10/10, one of the best cheesecakes I’ve had in a while. Good choice of food, including for vegetarians. Staff are accommodating, service is quick and the atmosphere is nice. Good that you can bring dogs in too. Wrap was nice but the side salad is a bit sad, think this could be improved. Otherwise, no faults!

Just a quick stop off and a very pleasant find too! Lovely staff, quality food with good coffee. Ooh and dog friendly too so West End Cafe is a winner for me.

Lovely local cafe. Nice food at reasonable prices. The staff provided good friendly service. Recommend the all day breakfast. Hope to return to try one of their lovely cakes.

Fantastic afternoon tea with a vegetarian option as well. Plenty of food for the price and we really enjoyed it. Staff were lovely and accommodating with my short notice request. Highly recommend because it was delicious!
