   Nice store, clean and tidy and helpful staff. I was visiting a family member who lives on the Isle of Wight and had to call in as they'd broken their hand rail and needed some help with a replacement and the fittings. I was served by a chap called Hayden who couldn't have helped more, even gave me a hand with the door to get back to my car which was nice (my local branch don't do this!!).

   Really unhelpful staff at this branch. I ordered an item online and hadn't heard anything from them so I called in on the off-chance that the item was ready. I gave the reference number to the member of staff. She confirmed that the item had arrived in the store but I could not have it as they had not yet sent me a text message. I explained that I could not come back today but no, it made no difference and I could not have the item I paid for. I left empty handed and have since cancelled the order I shall not be shopping with them again.

   New system for picking up click and collect orders, have to put your order number in an ipad, then wait for the mystical pixie bring your stuff. never checked my ID or offered a receipt. I'm not sure how the system saves time, definitely reduces customer service.

   Great place, had to return a faulty padlock which was replaced with no fuss at all. In September 2022 the store has installed 2 tablets that you have to place your order on instead of ordering at the counter. This is a frustrating way of working that makes no sense at all and on our recent visit many people were so frustrated they simply walked out. Not good.
