    Dating back to the 1800s, mentioned in bulmers history and directory of east Yorkshire 1892. This traditional pub has had a modern refurbished bright light clean, barrat show home look. Two pool tables, outdoor seating area, and car park to rear. The lounge is manly used as a function room now.Friendly helpful staff even offered a taster when enquiring about one of the beers. A wide selection of beers and larger, sadly no cask conditioned real ales which for me is a deal braker. A nice pub opposite St James Church handy for that pre wedding drink. Dog friendly.
