The Pelican is a real gem! Stepping inside feels like a warm hug, with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The beer selection is fantastic. The food is classic pub fare, done right. I had the burger and it was delicious β perfectly cooked and generously portioned. The prices are reasonable, and the service is quick and efficient. Whether you're looking for a quiet pint after work or a lively spot to catch up with friends, The Pelican is a great choice. I'd give it a solid 5 out of 5 stars!

βAn absolutely fantastic meal at The Pelican! I stopped by for a bite to eat and was completely blown away. I ordered the burger and a side of loaded fries, and it was hands down one of the best I've had in Hull. The burger was juicy, cooked to perfection, and packed with flavour. The loaded fries were the real star of the show - crispy, generously topped, and incredibly moreish. The atmosphere in the pub was warm and welcoming, and the staff were brilliant. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommended!

Excellent local pub. Great to pop in after work and have a cheeky drink in the small bar, plenty of car parking spaces.. If sports if your thing, they also have all the sky sports channels. Lovely staff, friendly, professional and welcoming. Have a very good sized function room for any occasion. Good food served at weekends. Or if you want to dance the weekend away, they also have excellent music taste.

The Pelican Pub is a proper local β good food, fair prices, and great service in a spot that mixes traditional charm with a modern feel. Thereβs plenty of seating inside, a spacious beer garden, darts, pool, and even a function room for parties. What really makes it shine are the people. Mel and Ian run it with pride, the staff are friendly and attentive (ask Kye for a Guinness with a shamrock!), and the regulars make everyone feel at home. Pop in on a Sunday for the Killer Darts League β always a good laugh!

Wasn't impressed with the staff choice of clothing, we were a wake/celebration of a life lost and the two bar staff members were dressed like they wanted to be elsewhere. One was wearing a Metallica shirt the other a hoodie with gym instructor or something or other. What happened to uniforms ? I've worked the pub game, representation is everything.

I attended a party in the back funtion room. We had to stand as there wasn't enough chairs. You have to pass the toilets as you go in and they stunk. Staff wasn't very chatty we felt a bit of an inconvenience going to the bar. A smile goes a long way.

Pizzas are coming to Pelican. Gary has been practicing his Pizza making skills and it's amazing at what hes created. The new philly cheese pizza is by far, the best tasting pizza I've ever eaten.
