   The Harry Pursey is a large pub and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. It's a sports bar with plenty of televisions showing different sports. There is a wide variety of beers, lager and cider. However, sadly, there are no hand pulled cask conditioned real ales. On the plus side, the beer is very cheap, and there is a pool table and dart board.

   A well kept pub with a neat layout. I particularly like the natural light coming in around the bar, the barrels and brickwork behind it make for a well presented place to be served. You can tell this was a Wetherspoons at one point as the long journey to the toilets up some stairs is fitting. You might notice some very old but very good quality pictures of Hull on your way up the stairs too. It's very much a local men's favourite but that by no means should suggest it's in any way unfriendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming as you'd expect on a Sunday. Booze on draught is quite possibly the cheapest you'll find anywhere these days. It's an all round pleasant pub to visit.

   Popped in here after booking in at our hotel closeby. To watch the end of the City match on the large screen tv's. Unfortunately we lost, which ended our survival hopes in the Championship. However the price of beer here is good so at least we could drown our sorrows. The pub staff are really friendly and need all the customers that they can get after Lockdown ended. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.
