   Moderation is a nice modern style bar. There is a good selection of beers, lagers, and cider at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, no cask conditioned real ales, but a lot of town centre bars don't have cask ale if there isn't enough demand they can not stock it. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

   Appalling poor neighbours blasting out Karoke and DJ PAs with doors wide open and a residential block directly opposite This is a mixed residential and commercial district, but this venue have no consideration of that. You can visit the Moderation and have a lovely drink with your friends and enjoy a nice atmosphere if they would only keep their doors shut as an act of consideration for the neighbours Please consider NOT using this venue until they DO start to show more consideration

   Such a nice relaxing place where you are always welcomed by the staff or Danny the owner.The best landlord in the town by far.Realistic beer prices help to pass the time among like minded beer drinkers. 4 minutes walk from the Interchange.

   Nice to see a bar ran as it should be. Friendly table service. Good banter from the regulars. A nice drink in a decent atmosphere. Will I go again.... yes... and you can take that to the bank. Not my first visit and certainly not my last.

   I visit the mod at least 3 mornings a week. Great little pub, great landlord and staff. All beers 2.00 a pint Monday to Thursday 10am to 6pm.,and great music and banter. What more can you want.
