Great Pints and live football, the poor barman appeared to be by himself on a Saturday night but he did really well! Highly recommend Brew Dogs Black Heart if you're a Guinness drinker like myself, i actually preferred Black Heart more!

A lovely vintage and old pub in Hull City Centre. Just to look at the ceiling is with a visit. However, we came on a Saturday night and 1 person working and was very busy. He did his best and was full of apologies.

What a place for decor : just watch the road if wet when crossing the paving slab is at a slight angle as I found out . Luckily was after 2 pints previous so only pride damaged phew

Ok it’s worth popping in to see the ceiling, fixtures and fittings; but no decent beer just big brew fonts, no whisky choice and sky sports adverts everywhere. Cannot recommend.

We came in after work on Wednesday for a pint. Amazing pub interior with a decorative ceiling and island bar. The beer choice was limited to Doom Bar on draft, but the person serving and clientele were all very welcoming - normal for Hull

Karaoke is becoming a popular afternoon /evening on Fridays, lovely staff, very welcoming. Reasonable prices for a city centre bar, good atmosphere too

Great place with a fantasticly intriguing internal architecture. The member of staff was polite and engaging. Has mentioned previously, the prices are a bit steep. However in the current climate we have to make some exceptions.

I was pleasantly surprised. I'd not been in this pub for over 20 years. It was filling up nicely late Saturday afternoon with a good selection of keg and draught lagers and beers. If they have the kitchen to do food as well then that really would be a bonus in my opinion. Having said that it's always been a drinkers pub so maybe not.

Very quiet at midday on a Thursday so not much atmosphere. The barman was pleasant and polite but Β£3.95 for a pint of Stella is a bit on the high side but I'm from south of the river so maybe our beer is a tad cheaper. No great faults but nothing to recommend a return visit. I would rate it 6/10.
