   Always a great atmosphere in Highway, staff are always really friendly, warm and welcoming. The food is also amazing, especially the burgers! Fantastic local, wouldn’t go anywhere else

   four adults and the dog payed a visit for lunch 19/11/25. Got a very warm welcome. We ordered food 3x sausage mash and peas and 1 meat pie and chips. Food was beautiful we scraped the plates. Then 2 x sponge pudding and custard that was delicious. This is not a pub we really go in only been in once to do the quiz night and that was great fun with great prizes. We will most definitely be going in again nice warm friendly atmosphere. Oh and the dog got a drink and was offered treats. The young lady who served us had excellent customer service skills.Thank you we will be seeing you again.

   Great atmosphere and friendly service. The food was delicious and arrived in a reasonable time, and the drinks were served promptly after ordering. The prices are very reasonable, which makes the experience even better. The live music added an enjoyable touch and created a welcoming vibe throughout the night. I also appreciate that the pub supports small local businesses, which shows a real commitment to the community. Overall, an excellent place to relax, eat well, and enjoy good company.

   Went to a 21st Birthday party in a nice spacious room over the pub. It was a sunny day and families were enjoying the outside space and the food being served by the busy staff. It was easy to see that The Highway is the hub of the community.
