   Fabulous Christmas lunch with colleagues. Food lovely & huge portions (boxes readily available for those who wanted leftovers to take home)… But it was the service that made this 5 star worthy - a specific shout out & thank you to Donna - warm, friendly, attentive but not intrusive & and exceptional example of how service should be.

   Had the festive carvery, was really enjoyable. Wanted to make some changes to the pre-ordered food and the staff member Finn was very accommodating and got everything sorted for us in no time. Very friendly service

   I had the chicken burger with the franks red hot sauce and it was nice enough. Decent temperature and good portion. My wife had the pulled pork burger but found it overly greasy. Both of our portions of fries were warm and not fresh tasting. The young lad was extremely polite and friendly but the GM seemed annoyed that we had complained! Stating that burgers are meant to be greasy and we should have complained sooner... If they had come to check on us after we received our food initially, then I would have. Also, when asked for sauces and I wanted HP he seemed to pause and looked flustered. No immediate offer of compensation or apology, just a threat of a fresh portion of fries. My wife then said how about a dessert instead and it seemed like we were grudgingly accepted. The dessert was lovely but couldn't work out if the bubble waffley type thing was meant to be soft or crunchy. Not terrible all in all but for the price I have had better.

   Awesome pizza, really tasty. Didn't get pics of the carvery but that was delicious too and good portion of meat. Staff were lovely but could've done with more on the bar as the queue was long and we were waiting around 15 mins to get served so next time will definitely give ordering on the app a go!

   The best carvery I've had for a long, long time! Didn't think I'd have room for a sweet but had to try the apple pie - glad I did - it was delicious! Apart from the fantastic food our waitress Annie couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Already planning another visit. Thank you.

   Nice pub, park park could do with the drainage sorting though as it holds water bad. My feet got soaked trying to get to the pub as the puddles was 1-2" deep. Ordered carvery on my first visit, Spot on, it was amazing. Second visit tried their pizza, also amazing. Definitely recommend here, its nothing special, like most chain pubs but definitely a place to go for a bite to eat. Staff was also very friendly and pleasant.

   Had a lovely carvery. Just a slight delay while waiting to be shown our table. Carvery was lovely. We had fantastic help from Annie who was really attentive. Would like the chain to consider having a small carvery on weekend for older persons with smaller appetite. Overall a really enjoyable meal. Would come again
