Bought some seasalt fudge for Father’s Day, not until I got home did I notice it’s a year out of date. I live on the mainland so I cannot return it, however I won’t be visiting your shop again.
I go to the Cider barn once a year while visiting the island. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Tried the new Rattle Trap cider this year - absolutely smashing! Can't wait to go back again!
Went in here during a holiday to buy some cider, the man who works there was friendly and helpful. He let us try his own cider even knowing we wasn't interested in buying that. Great honest shop. Great tasting cider too!
Brilliant range of local (and no-so-local) ciders, run by very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They let us in with a very wet/hairy dog as they were trying to close up for the evening. Prices are reasonable, considering you're getting the cider equivalent of individual craft beers. They also have a selection of gift sets, various miniatures and other spirits available, if you don't fancy a cider. Would happily visit again when we return to the Isle of Wight!
Nice friendly new owners, Wide range of island products at reasonable prices for both humans and dogs. Will definitely visit again and wish the new owners all the best.
Love visiting this cider barn when we're on the isle of wight ,called today not a single bottle of cider in the place ,they need to change its name ,another little gem gone .
Cider tastes like water vinegar. Two bottles brought a scrumpy and a Lazy lob. Tasted the same. Avoid.
Bought two ciders from Cider Barn - Pear and Passion Juice - to enjoy during the hot weather. However, both tasted exactly the same; thin, flavourless and watered down. Neither had an expiry date after second glance !? Only one place for them... down the drain. Absolutely disgusting !
A quaint little shop with a wide selection of ciders, liqueurs, jams, sauces, and confectionary. Lady behind the counter was lovely and helpful as well.
