    I go regularly to the Hitchin veterinary surgery with all my pets. The receptionists are friendly and efficient and there is a nice atmosphere in the waiting room. The vets are helpful and explain things very clearly. The vets and nurse are very kind and gentle with the pets, so it is less stressful for them. I would highly recommend this veterinary surgery for your pet care.

    I can't speak highly enough of HVS, the whole team are fantastic. Our Jasper is an epileptic dog and they have been wonderful as we have navigated looking after him, and cool, calm and supportive during some of his more dramatic moments (and he is a touch dramatic as shown below)! He wouldn't be here without their care and professionalism, and we are so grateful!

    We have recently moved over to this surgery as advised from our dog trainer as they especially good with reactive dogs. We have been extremely impressed with the service for a our 2 dogs and cats. They allowed us to meet with our reactive dog outside the vets and were very calm and accommodating. They respond very quickly to any prescription request and all in has a very good for us and our pets. Thank you

    The nicest vets I have ever been to. The lovely receptionists make you feel so welcome and always show our pup love and affection. The vets and nurses have been wonderful. You can tell they truly love animals. They give so much great advice and answered all our questions with patience and kindness. The surgery is in a lovely location with plenty of parking and they even offered some friendly visits where our pup can just pop in to say hi and receive a few treats so they don't feel so scared about coming in. 100% recommend.

    I feel that my dog has never been in more capable hands. Every member of the team - from the receptionists to the vets to the locums to the owner - have a genuine interest, care, and concern for animals. My dog loves going to the vet now and her happiness to see them is always reciprocated. I guess she feels safe. Unfortunately for my bank balance I do have to visit fairly regularly due to her long term health condition, but she still pulls me in the door every time, and the vets are always reading up on the latest treatments to help her.

    My cat has been through a tough couple of weeks with surgery, cat flu and then a house move. Stuart and the team go above and beyond in every way and I know I can call at anytime for advice. I’ve now moved to Stevenage but will continue to pay the taxi fare to get Teddy to see them as they are simply the best.
