Been with this vets for over 20 years. Always found them helpful and professional. We just had our cat euthanised , Chris was outstanding in the care shown to my son to help come to terms with the process. Thanks Chris
First time of taking our pet snake to the vets to see Chris. Didn't know what to expect but felt comfortable and Chris explained everything and followed up by an email. He was recommended to us and certainly would recommend him to anyone else with an exotic pet.
Brilliant first visit- the appointment was on time, unlike different vets used in the past. Very calm and thoughtful vet Selena, who understood the need to go slowly with my dog. Useful and considerate recommendations too. Overall, it was a brilliant experience, thank you so much
10/10 Recommend!! I rescued my dog just over 2 months ago, he’s vary wary of new people so as you can imagine vet visits are very much fun for him. Well that was until we started confidence classes weekly, he met with a lovely nurse called Tara who has been gaining a great bond with Jango to the point he gets excited when she comes out to get us from the waiting area which is a massive improvement. Hopefully with continued visits he’ll be able to get the help he needs without the worry of meeting someone new!
What a lovely practice. We've used them over several years to look after our Syrian Hamster. They truly meant it when they said that they treat all animals with the same level of care. Even down to our last appointment when we needed to put our beloved pet down, there was so much care and empathy displayed which helped us through the process. This even extended to a beautiful hand written letter sent to us a week later offering their condolences - such a thoughtful touch. I would 100% recommend this practice.
Absolutely shocking.. I called today to request butterfly needles to administer Sub-q fluids to my Cat with CKD, at the request of Vets4Pets, because they have nearly run out. I was told on the phone "they can't be given out to members of the public" When I asked why, after being put on hold, "it's a medical procedure which you need to be trained for". I explained we've been trained, and have been giving our cat sub-q for 2 years since we swapped to Vets4Pets. She told me "call vets4pets" after I'd already explained twice Vets4Pets have run out of needles, and they told us to call other vets in Letchworth... 2 years ago Letchworth Veterinary Centre failed to treat our cat properly after they diagnosed her with CKD, telling us at the time, "she has CKD, it's very common, go look online you'll find information what to do", giving her back to us without providing her with treatment beyond antibiotics, and not informing us of treatment options. Our cat was very sick and lost a lot of weight, we nearly lost her, and would have had we not changed to vets4pets who provided exemplary care. Now, 2 years later, once again, LVC have failed in their duty of care by not selling us something we need to administer treatment to our cat, just repeatedly telling us to "call vets4pets and explain the situation". Absolutely shocking service, I really cannot believe they would be so callous. I really wanted to let the past go, but this has just brought all those emotions back of how they failed us. I'm disgusted.
Always friendly, welcoming and very professional service from the various vets here that we've seen on different occasions - highly recommended.
I saw the vet Jane for the 1st time yesterday with my dog, & she was fantastic. Not only was she compassionate & so kind, she totally put me at ease, & nothing was too much trouble. She was also so warm & caring with my dog. Another lovely vet at this practice, who show how much they really care for their patients & owners alike.
This team love animals and are always helpful on the phone. They're quite busy on a normal day so always best to call as soon as they open to have the best shot at getting a same day appointment. Their vets are knowledgeable and to the point. I'm glad they're my local vet.
