AVOID AVOID AVOID Made appointment for my dog to have her booster. Original price £63 agreed and booked. Turn up today to be told injections have changed and price has gone up by £20 aswell as having to return on 4 weeks time. They are happy to remind you of your appointment but won't update you to tell you the price or injection changes. Rude staff. Have been using this vets for last 18 years and will not be going back. Do not recommend and service is appalling. Waste of time, fuel and money for a simple uodate.

I will be moving my dogs from there as I took my puppy to see the vet. I asked about aspiration pneumonia with my cleft lip puppy, was told this wasn’t the case and that the puppy was “thriving” and only crying for his mum. The puppy was given a dehydration shot in the neck, came back screaming and crying and despise my concerns, was given an anti nausea medication. The puppy sadly passed away 6 hours later and milk started coming out of his nose when he was taking his last breath - concluding an aspiration pneumonia. If only I advocated for him to give him antibiotics or took him to a different vet, things would have been different, but I shouldn’t have to do so. Really upset about this as I bonded with this little one and the loss has been really hard on me and my family. Never will come back here again just a waste of money, I’d rather pay £500 and I would of saved my puppies life, than pay what I paid here and experience my little one pass away with so much pain.

Have been bringing my dog to this vets for over 4 years now and never had a bad experience at the Luton clinic. Moved to them after a terrible customer service experience elsewhere. The Luton staff have always been supportive, kind, friendly, and understanding. Wouldn’t trust anywhere else to look after my little dog and very grateful for their service. Thank you to the Luton team!

The experience I’ve had with them aren’t useful. I’m convinced the vets in ickneild vets aren’t even trained or qualified and just doing their job for the money and have no interest in these animals. For two years one of my cats has been having some issues like dropping laying down when he would just stand for a few seconds and his breath smelt a bit and he was just acting off and why he always chokes on his food and always keeps his tongue out. And for two years I’ve been asking them what are the issues with him. I’ve got no answer from them until this year I took him to this vet again and a different lady has told me he’s got stomach issues which causes him to be feeling tired and the reason for his breath. And now they’ve waited two years to tell me that he’s got mouth problems and it’ll be 800£ for his dental treatment. These vets waited for inflation and prices to go higher just so customers can pay more. 800£ for dental treatment on a cat who has been suffering for a while is ridiculous. And they’ve also let him out with no treatment done and told me he’s just going to keep being uncomfortable until you pay to get his dental treatment done. Ickneild vets are not useful whatsoever. I ain’t happy.

I have been with Icknield for a long while. It seems to be operating as a business, just after the money, rather than providing care. Things have definitely gone downhill. My dog's lump was misdiagnosed on multiple occasions, which then turned out to be cancerous and she then needed to be operated on as an emergency. Few months on, she is wetting her bed and after multiple tests have shown nothing, they now feel the need to do an MRI. She is 11. Perhaps it is just old age. Who has £4000?? Not feeling confident in their approach.

Called for an emergency and the admin is laughing on the phone after 40 kins questions. Why she's laughing on an emergency? She's calling "basic details" plus continuing completing basic details there. You have left to take blood samples dna from me, and ask my passwords and bank details and if I went to toilet this morning. But the cat is an emergency, who cares - data base to be filled.

Very poor customer service- just Rude. Very little communication and explanation on how to take care of our boy after his surgery. Please look elsewhere for a caring provider to your pets.

If you have a small animal like a rabbit I definitely recommend coming here and seeing Ricardo before my rabbit chocolate passed away he would always come here and see either Ricardo or Katie they are both amazing veterinarians and they looked after chocolate so well when he came in for check ups or needed his teeth cut and the nurses who would look after my chocolate after he came out of his operation were fantastic and when we brought chocolate in when he was no longer here they were amazing with that so for all the veterinarians and nurses who looked after chocolate when he was still here thank you so much ❤️

Just spoke to a rude old lady who wouldn’t offer any help for my cat. My Cat has a history of UTI’s yet they want me to book and pay for a pointless assessment every time. Bunch of scammers trying to milk as much money as possible.
