Woman owner rude and nasty! Bends local rules for her own convenience making guests pay the price. Thinks she runs Chichester. If any disagreement is had she will start making silly accusations and threaten calling the police (who are always there anyway). The hotel may be nice but you’ll be scared to ever raise an issue as you WILL be told you’re in wrong, even if you are the guest.

Wow! Can’t recommend this hotel to enough people. It is more of a home away from home, which is a pleasant disruption from the standard chain hotels I normally frequent as an avid traveller. The rooms for my stay was full of character and perfect for my requirements. What makes this stay so memorable is your hosts. The proprietors of this property are on site, so helpful, and engaging! Honest and straight forward, not to mention make an incredible omelet in the morning. I hear the pancakes are great too!! Plan in advance as I believe this hotel books up quickly! I will be back again.

We've not stayed here but wanted to put a review up for the lovely kind owners. After my son helped carry some bags back to the hotel after they had unfortunately broken, he was invited in for a cup of tea to say thank you. Myself, my daughter and his friend were also invited in for drinks. This is a stunning family run hotel with a lovely dinning area and beautiful garden. They also gave my daughter a gift for her 1st birthday next. What a beautiful hotel run by lovely kind people.

Spent one night here and wish I’d been able to stay longer. East Walls is a lovely small hotel with an affable, funny, and very welcoming proprietor. I stayed on the ground floor overlooking the garden, and the room was well-appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel readily held my bags all day after I checked out and while I explored Chichester. Highly recommend.

Some good things - excellent freshly cooked breakfast with great choices. Nice old fashioned rooms and a good outside area. Less good - no reception when we arrived and we had to phone to get in.
