Asked about booking an appointment and told the lady on reception I can’t book through the NHS app or using the new system so wanted to know how I book without coming in and using the iPads. She kept speaking over me, telling me it’s been working all morning and it’s my internet connection (it is not I checked it) very rushed, rude and not listening. Only one other person waiting behind me!

Very good surgery! My husband and I been treated with respect and friendliness. Although they have too many patients, they do their best to see everyone as soon as possible and try to give each patient the time and attention they need. The GPs that I have seen have been friendly, actively listening, knowledgeable and quick to test and treat. All other staff, including reception staff and on the phone, have always been respectful, helpful, friendly and professional. The surgery itself has always been spot on clean and tidy and welcoming as well. Would recommend! Thank you everyone at Cowes surgery!!

Posted a letter to a doctor through the door as couldn't get through on phone. I put it in an envelope with the name of the doctor and in capitol letters PRIVATE. which means, to that doctor to read ONLY. After several days of not hearing anything I called up. The receptionist told me the doc was ff for the week. OK, thought, fair enough. But then she proceeded to tell me that the letter had been opened and read by receptionist and telling me the contents of said letter. I am fuming. WHAT Part OF PRIVATE. Do they not understand??? It should have been red by the named doctor on his return, and then delt with by him to arrange any response from admin. There is no confidentiality in this practice. I am fuming, and have no faith in the place. Discusting and some receptionists are rude. I hate this place. It's Run terrbly. You call for an appointment, get asked what's the reason. Then told call back next day at 8. When everyone is calling. Don't ask the reason if you can't give appointment.!!!

I came to the Isle Of Wight on a work trip and had a severe ear infection that I needed treating immediately. The staff were absolutely amazing, they got me my temporary residency sorted and an appointment to see someone within the hour. I was in so much pain, and the nurse I saw gave me everything I needed from pain relief to antibiotics. My first time going there and I will never forget the service. I am eternally grateful.

Apalling today indeed, tried to contact over the phone, cut off twice after becoming 1st in the cue after being 6th and then again at the very end after being 4th, 48 minutes on the phone altogether... No success... Tried E-consult the last couple of days and had insufficient and partly inadequate advice with no option to discuss or have more detailed guidance what to do on that system. This is not serious...

I cannot fault this surgery in the slightest tonight. My youngest child came down very poorly very quickly, all staff from reception to doctors gave the most amazing care, were extremely accomodating and kind and efficient in getting my youngest seen and the treatment he needed. Thank you so much to all of you.

My experience has been nothing but positive with the team here! The staff (receptionists, Drs, nurses, etc!) have all been very helpful and lovely. The centre is also nice and in an ideal location with parking and chemists nearby. Keep up the great work! (I hope they also get some more support/resources as they’re obviously busy, but doing a great job!)

Can't get appointments in advance, even for young infants! Econsult won't accept details of babies younger than 6 months either. Everything must be booked same morning during the 8am rush, which is fine if you have the time to waste, only to be told after 20mins on hold that everything is gone for the day. This place might as well not exist, most everything they can do in terms of health care can be accessed faster via 111 or A&E. All this decline within 2 decades. Absolutely appalling.
