    Staff member who was assessing me commented on how my self harm ‘wasn’t that bad’ right in front of my face even though its left permanent scars on me, and whenever i had gotten upset or stressed she seemed like she would rather have any other job. None of the healthcare workers in there seem to actually care and not to mention the waiting lists being years with no actual support after you finally access help.

    Shocking service. Needs to be available 24/7. Need to have professional staff. Receptionists are a joke and extremely rude

    Allowed years of child abuse to continue, which they were fully aware of :) thank you Camhs for allowing me to live my childhood in a home with domestic violence against my mother, my siblings and myself. They could have taken us away and alerted social services but never did. Thank you for the CPTSD I must know live with the rest of my life ! Do NOT let your children attend Camhs. Get them real help.

    Shocking experience, mental health counsellor who i will not name with little or no life experience wrongfully advising kids (i.e. playing god). They have no awareness or understanding gained through experience or study. The counselling they provided actually caused more damage within the family than good. Absolute zero communication with parents which is unacceptable. Take my advice don't take your kids here for counselling as it is beyond amateurish. After speaking to other parent's who have had similar terrible experiences with cahms, I seriously cannot recommend this place. I don't usually write reviews but thought it was better to forewarn other parents who were considering taking kids there. If I could give no stars I would, shocking experience!
