Really well located. Walking distance into Portsmouth City and the Southsea attractions. Right on the seafront. Slightly marred by lots of current building work in the immediate vicinity. Rooms slightly dated but spacious and comfortable. Free WiFi for guests. On site parking available with a small discount for guests.

Stayed here for one night before crossing onto the Ilse of Wight the room was a sea veiw one it was clean and comfortable but unfortunately the bathroom is so dated and really needs a refresh. Also although a sea veiw room what couldn't take myself away from the rubbish on the flat roof. Not good . However we really enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast. Lovely friendly staff. .

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this. From the moment we arrived, the service was just awful, and I’m genuinely shocked by how unprofessional and unwelcoming the staff were. First, the reception staff. No greeting, no smiles—just cold and almost dismissive. It honestly felt like we were bothering them by being there, and that’s never the way you want to be made to feel when you’re checking into a hotel. Then things only got worse in the restaurant. We were there during breakfast, and the place was extremely quiet—yet, the staff still managed to make us feel uncomfortable. One of your team members actually took someone’s plate away before they were even done eating. It was so obvious the plate wasn’t finished, but when it was pointed out, the staff member was so rude and dismissive, acting like we were the ones causing a problem. Not even an apology. On another occasion during that time in the restaurant, the same staff member spoke to me and another person in our group like we were dirt. All we did was walk in a different direction from where our table was set, and suddenly, we were being spoken to like we didn’t matter at all. I get that things can get busy, but honestly, no one should be treated like that. People come to these hotels to relax, and the last thing anyone needs is to be treated with such disrespect, especially when they’re just trying to enjoy a peaceful break. As someone with qualifications in Travel & Tourism, I can tell you this is not the kind of service I expect. The staff’s behavior was beyond unprofessional—it was just downright rude and dismissive. Honestly, a full reset of your team is needed. On top of all this, the room itself was disappointing. One of the pillows had mold on it. How is that even possible? Are your housekeeping staff even checking the rooms before guests check in? This is not the standard of cleanliness or attention to detail I would expect from a place that claims to offer a high-quality service. I’m really disappointed by my stay here. I’m writing this because I genuinely hope you take this feedback seriously and do something about it. This wasn’t just one issue—it was a pattern of poor service across the board.

On the sea front, lovely walk. Right by the fun fair. Easy access to the ferries and hovercraft to the Isle of Wight. Friendly staff, great breakfast . Plenty to do for the children. Great for boat watching too.

The receptionist was quite rude when we arrived, I felt awkward as she was quite blunt. There was a mix up with our breakfast. We were asked every morning if we had paid, it was clearly on the list if they bothered to look! Apart from that generally the staff were Lovely and helpful and the location was perfect.

The Premier plus rooms are a terrific addition to this inn. The space, coffee maker, toiletries and general attention to detail make this a real pleasure to stay. Hopefully all Premier Inn establishments will rise to this standard. We carried on to Crew West and the Inn there is very tired and is badly needing upgraded.

No one at reception on arrival just after 16 30. Rang the bell 3 times before someone turned up and wasn't very pleasant. When we entered the room, which was on the very end, ground floor. It stunk of damp, so we had to keep the window open. There was a constant noise behind the sink and banging from above. Overall, terrible nights sleep. Would not stay again.

No restaurant since February due to storm damage so no breakfast! and a tiny carpark with a £5 daily charge I would stay slightly further out and find a hotel with a free carpark and restaurant unless you want a view of a roof or a glimpse of the sea when standing on your sofa

" Very Poor Service." Our room wasn`t cleaned and nothing in the room was replaced throughout our 7 days booking. There were pigeon droppings in huge quantity outside our bedroom balcony windows, and the windows in our room were filthy. We booked 3 rooms in January 2022 for the family and paid for in total in advance which was non refundable, and we were told just 3 weeks before our arrival in on August 6th 2022 that breakfast would not be served due to the storm damage back in January 2022. I would not stay at this hotel again due to this.

"It's OK". Our room was perfectly good and clean, but the bathroom could do with a bit of paint. Very comfy bed and even in November with the heating off we were a bit warm!
