   As a first time buyer, Josie is exactly who you want to be helping you through the process. She listens to your needs, she goes above and beyond, makes your feel comfortable and reasurred throughout, without her I would have felt pretty lost she is asset to Bernards Southsea. Toni came in half way through the sale and again worked with Josie and myself acting as a go-between us and the, difficult, solicitors. Toni was able to explain the process to me as a first time buyer, was always prompt with her emails and helped get the completion over the line on the day. I cant reccomend Josie and Toni highly enough for their outstanding servive, and consequently I hope to keep in touch. Thanks again guys! :)

As a first-time buyer, I had lots of questions and nerves, but the team was incredibly patient, professional, and supportive every step of the way. They kept me updated throughout the whole process, explained everything clearly, and genuinely cared about helping me find the right place. Thanks to them, what could’ve been a stressful experience turned out to be exciting and smooth, even with solicitors that weren’t the best at communication they did everything they could to speed the process along.    Sold the flat through the southsea branch. The sale itself was complicated and drawn out because of a unique set of circumstances. Ryan was my point of contact throughout the process and was excellent. He kept me, the buyer and my tenants continually updated. He thought of a different approach to solve the various problems we encountered and generally made a stressful situation a lot less stressful. I felt he was continually working for me in the background to ensure the sale went through before my deadline. He definitely went above and beyond the job description to help me. Highly recommended

   Exceptionally friendly and great until the offer was accepted and then no updates for months. I was even asked by the branch manager for an update at one point!! Then when one of the other agents got involved he gave incorrect information twice to my solicitor which delayed the sale. Also the same agent called me asking me to speak to my solicitor about an issue, after a little quizzing it was actually my buyers he should’ve called. Not difficult to look in the file to see who’s solicitor is whose! I received more regular updates and contact from the other estate agent in the chain than I did Bernard’s. I’ve complained twice (Branch Manger and Directors) in writing and yet to receive a response (breaking their complaints policy). Very much feels like they can do the deal but then lose interest for the most stressful part. I would never recommend and wish I’d used another agent even if it had cost me more.
