   My girls (3 guinea pigs) always go to julia when we are away, So around 3 times a year and have done for the last 3 years or so. They are always happy, healthy and well looked after! They often have their nails trimmed whilst there too. I've never seen where they are kept, which I understand they stopped allowing people in during covid and just kept it that way which is fine with me, I know the girls are well looked after, they come back clean, well fed and just as chirpy as I took them. They have outdoor time when the weathers nice too and they are very affordable. Julia is super accommodating too on their most recent stay i needed to drop to girls off 2 days earlier then scheduled as I had so much to do and she was happy to help. Thank you for looking after them so well

   Utterly appalled. I arrived to drop off 4 guinea pigs and asked to see where the guineas would be staying - surely what any owner would expect. Unbelievably, this was refused. The owner (Edward) was rude and unhelpful. I literally could not believe what I was hearing. As a result of this nonsense I have had to cancel a trip to see my 90 year old mother in Scotland. I wonder what they are trying to hide.

   "Not a client of ours" yes we were, untill we caught you out by turning up a day early to collect the animals as you had the dates wrong, and we realised you clean them out on day of collection to make it look better, rather than actually doing it through the duration of the stay. And a whole tub of hamster food used in 10 days, and then you fed him guinea pig food.... Denying poor reviews is really not a good look Julia.

   Julia is very caring person. Communication between clients are excellent. My hamsters are well taken care of when we go away on holiday and I would definitely recommend this lady for looking after hamsters and any other small animals. Thank you Julia. Sarah x

   Julia has looked after our rabbit a number of times now - she makes it so easy to go on holiday! H is well looked after, groomed, entertained and very well fed - and Julia is a delight to know as she will go out of her way to accommodate you and your pet. I will definitely use Skittering Pig again and highly recommend Julia's services.

   Skittering Pig offers a fantastic service for both our guinea pigs and cats while we go on holiday. The owner Julia is friendly and very accommodating, because of this we have used Skittering Pig time and time again and have recommended to all our local friends who have small furries. Julia is a genuine pet lover and goes out of her way to provide the best service possibly for her clients and pets. Our animals love Julia looking after them and are always thoroughly pampered.
