   Wowee customer service at its incredible best. I went in to ask for a product. It was not in stock. I asked when it might be in and Dave put his hand in his pocket took the item off a ring and handed it to me. Completely free of charge - no questions. I have never had a shopping experience like it. First class service. When you do go there do please thank Dave again for me - and you could ask him what it was he gave me! You can tell him that it worked fine.

   Jewson is a great place to go for fencing paving slabs and all kinds of building and decorating materials with very helpful knowledgeable staff. It's good that some of the fencing material and paving slabs are laid out gives you an idea of what the finished job will look like. Plenty of Customer parking.

   I bought two sets of door locks together with handles .At the time of purchase I asked if I was able to take them back if they did not fit and I was told that if I had not opened the packaging ,they would take them back and refund the money . Next day I took them back only to be told that there is a 15 percent restocking charge that I was not told about and when I objected I was shown a sign on a side wall behind the counter that said so . That information was not said to me at the time of purchase and if I had been told I would not have bought them . My complain is the attitude of the person in charge which was gazing at me as though my objection is not right . Why was I not told when I asked . To lose 15 percent of a minty six pound purchase over misleading information and the attitude of manager was the two terrible things about it . When buying from jewson one needs to be sure or you lose 15 percent because they have to take ten steps to put them back .

   Jewson, builders merchants. Friendly staff, place to park, wood, bricks, paving slabs, gloves, screws etc etc. They will cut wood to size if requested, although you might need to go at certain times.
