   Significantly better experience than our previous kennels, who gave us the impression they didn't like our dog. Loved the 3 sets of photo updates across the week! So nice to see her so happy. Price is fair for excellent service. We will be switching to you from Heath and Reach for sure!

   Was looking for a kennel for the family princess . went to see two other kennels but didn't impress me and I left feeling like I didn't want to leave her . Then a neighbour told me about Lower Hortondale Kennels , I arranged a visit to take a look round and the owner took me round with my dog, all the staff were friendly and engaging and while a staff member took Hollie to an exercise area I was shown the kennel, I was really impressed and all the dogs I could see looked happy. It was very clean and dry and they had heat lamps to keep dogs warm if needed . At this point I decided this was the place for her to stay so booked a date . She has stayed and when I picked her up I got a full run down on her habits and what she had been up to . Seeing as she is a very nervous dog the staff had really taken time to get to know her and she was happy around them . All I can say is that I am so please I have found such a well run Kennel with really professional staff . Thank you so much

   No, no, no. This place is a disgrace. They urgently needed a staff member. I offered to help. I am qualified in dog care and I live around the corner. I applied through indeed and even sent a cover note and personal email. They didn’t even bother replying. They just told indeed, no. They have now hired someone who is not even a doggy person. Even indeed said it was very unprofessional How lower hortondale kennels have acted and why they struggle keeping staff.

   An absolutely fantastic kennels, wouldn't trust anywhere else with my 2 dogs. Such lovely caring staff, we leave them and they trot off with the staff without a care. Highly recommended.

   Was in need of a new boarding kennel as the one I used previously closed. Extremely happy I found these guys. Fantastic team that are naturals with dogs. Such a peaceful and calm site. Clean and well organised. Cozy suites for the dogs and good sized paddocks for exercise time. Thank you again Kevin and the team!

   Stayed Sept 2019: We have just come back from a luxury 10 day stay. Rooms spacious, warm and well equipped. Staff very attentive and professional, they even sent messages and photos home for us as we were having too much fun to find the time. Grounds are a good size, well maintained and great for a daily run. Plenty to do in the day and great entertainment. Music provided all day in rooms. Food well prepared and on time. We stayed in a large room that was well maintained, cleaned daily and beds made daily. Drinks were provided 24/7. We have booked another stay around Xmas that we are looking forward to and we would highly recommend this wonderful hotel and the lovely staff. Best hotel we have ever stayed in! Benji & Ella Green (messy Sproodle, aged 15 months and nervous rescue, aged nearly 3 from Heath & Reach, Beds)
