What a great place to stay. The staff are very helpful and super happy. The site has everything you could need, shop, space, clean facilities and right next to Willem Lake or a great pub over looking the marina. Out of 30 sites visited in the last 2 years for a summer break with things to do this HAS to be number 1. If your thinking about going. Stop thinking and book it.

Loved it! Great for the kids, shame the pool was shut, but the themed log cabins are great, but a tad small. Staff were amazing, so friendly, and helpful. We'll go back for a longer stay again.

Excellent campsite! We stayed for 4 nights in our small camper, walking distance to the shopping centre and thereβs a few pubs very close too. The shower blocks have been recently refurbished and they were super clean. The owners are very friendly and the man who runs the campsite came and had a nice chat with us while we were cooking bacon!! We will definitely return in the future in our little red VW Camper in the near future Kind regards, Martin Sadler

Lovely little cabins very xose wouldn't want to stay for more than one night as no doors on toilets so every noise etc is heard. That said for a semincamping vibe it's a nice halfway house plus a lovely location and reasonably priced.

Went for the lights. Was a great experience for the whole family, especially for the kids. They loved it. The staff was very friendly and polite. Interactive with the young ones. Loved the multiple themes for the lights. Also managed to see some animals (even though it was a bit late in the evening). Would recommend it to everyone.

Giving it a four as kids loved it. We staid in small huts - not great for adults, will go larger tent or accomodation next time. facilities good. Staff on reception on arrival a bit "stiff" but ok. All other staff great including maintenance man on Sunday who allowed kids to keep putting keys in drop box. Seems stupid but kept kids happy and adults grateful. Small touch, very appreciated.

Liked the size of the pitch which was large but very uneven. We were very close to a group of tents rent by the campsite. I was glad they were empty other wise it might have been quite noisy. Staff were all quite young and some (not all) looked like they had not received their customer service training. We returned to the office once after check-in and felt like a real inconvenience. Facilities are woeful they are not just old but they are incredibly dirty with ingrained dirt. Someone needs to take bleach and a scrubbing brush to the walls. The toilet seats do not stay up and many doors did not have locks. I visited the toilets at 8am and it looked there had been a toilet roll party with ripped toilet roll all over the floor (not the resort's fault). I returned 5 hours later and it had not been cleaned up. These are the worst facilities I have come across in a very long time and really all because no-one is cleaning them properly. Shameful

This could be such a beautiful place. We recently stayed in one of the Explorer lodges called Buffalo 2. Our first impressions were very positive until we looked around. Outside, the jacuzzi had hair in, the outdoor "ashtray" was full of cigarette buds. The shower in the main bedroom did not have hot water. There was lots of dust in all the rooms, as well as cobwebs and spiders. This was reported the next morning to reception with photo evidences. We were promised that it would be cleaned while we were out in the park. To our surprise on our return late that afternoon nothing had been done. I contacted the number provided and was first told that the cleaning staff had left. But they did send a lady who came to remove the cobwebs and some of the dust while we sat waiting for the cleaning to finish. It is a shame as the lodge has great potential but the lack of cleaning let it down massively. So we were less than impressed and so were the kids. On a side note, thank you to the lady that came late to clean the lodge.

Lovely glamping tents. Warm comfy beds, double sofa bed. Towels provided, but would bring kitchen towel/tea towel, dishwash cloth and gloves for washing up. Nice clean showers, toilets and nice to have a kitchen, toaster, kettle, microwave and fridge. There is no heating in the tent although we did not need any. It was really windy at night, but the tent is very well made. Kids wore onesies so no problem warmth. Our tent was located just outside the children's climbing frame and football goal post. Meet some lovely ppl. Staff are very friendly. They had activities in the evening. Scooter ride for both adult and kids around the campsite, quiz night for the family which was fun, mini firepit with marshmallows. Would suggest bring your own if you want more than one marshmallow. They had bedtime story and milk but we didn't go to that. Overall would recomend staying for an night.
