A very beautiful place to see lovely colourful plants and flowers, Dragonflies including The Emperor at the right time of year and many butterflies and birds. It's not so big that you can't get round and not too tiny. The pub/cafe have lovely staff and make their food using their own produce. It's best to check what's in it as some of the recipes are strange, but it is all fresh and mainly organic. There is a Bettys tho i didn't shop there. I like going to the RHS. It's a happy place. The staff are very lovely and make up for food disappointments. The fee for one adult for a year is a bargain and includes one guest, so two for one. Parking is only just enough and could do with more disabled spaces. You can also park in Harrogate and walk through the woods here but I have not been able to do that yet. Many ppl do. There is a large and lovely shop and many cards and books for all ages.

The gardens are beautiful and I tryvto walk there at least once a week. The Glo exhibition was wonderful but I was very disappointed that they ran out of food at 7:20pm when the garden was open until 8:30pm. Would also recommend they put Food/Drink stalls at either end of the Gardens.

Beauty and peace here at all times of the year. My kids love it. Well worth the annual membership if you live nearby as it's not cheap for a single visit. Staff are always excellent. Lots of good gift ideas in the shops.

Went to go to bettys tea room as we had never been and WOW! Those pastries were out of this world. I had a vanilla slice which was the best I’ve ever had. Partner has a scone and he loved it. That had a lovely walk round the gardens and it was just stunning. The pictures don’t do it any justice.

Absolutely love this place, just take in the fresh air. RHS membership is a must if you intend to visit regularly. Betty's cafe is quite expensive, as is the garden centre for plants and flowers although both of a high quality. The avenue up the hill of seasonal flower beds takes my breath away and the kitchen gardens are inspirational to any budding veg grower. The bird hide has a surprising amount of species and the alpine house is lovely.

Beautiful garden. Majority of the grounds are wheelchair/mobility scooter accessible. Lots of benches to sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Ample parking, and a Betty’s on site- made the day a really special treat. The plant shop and gift shop were well stocked, and came away with a lemon tree! Just wish it was a bit closer- had a glorious day.

What a fantastic day. Never been before and well worth the visit. Fantastic gardens lots to see, nice stroll around all the areas with all in bloom, so many ideas for home. Cafe was busy, but Betty's had stalls in the garden, food was great and enjoyable.

What a beautiful park. Its huge, you really need a whole day to see it all properly. It has a Betty's tea room and a shop in the main building and there's a good cafe (Betty's also) in the grounds with lots of seating, vegans are well catered for. It's a great day out for the whole family.

Visiting here for the first time, I enjoyed walking around the gardens and arboretum and taking in some much needed fresh air. There is ample car parking here but it does get busy at some times of year and the queue for the main tearooms was very large. It will be good to go back as the seasons progress to see how the garden blooms. There are also a number of works being udnertaken which will enhance the experience.
