Absolute rubbish!!!! Have had a similar experience to other reviews mentioned - vinyl lifting, peeling and cracking. Tried contacting Summerbridge Doors directly as the kitchen fitting company has gone out of business. Got a very unsatisfactory response from Summerbridge saying they are now owned by another company and quality standards have now improved but I notice they are still trading under same name. They told me my doors are now out of guarantee so nothing could be done. Having to resort to getting all doors, panels, plynths and drawers replaced by a more reputable company as I want to sell my house and no-one would put in an offer with the way the kitchen looks at present. So a £12,000 kitchen is now costing me over £18,000 just to sell. Have contacted Rip Off Britain about this company. It needs someone to investigate how many people including myself have been ripped off to prevent others falling victim to a company that simply does not care less and supplies inferior products.
Truly awful products. Like a lot of the other reviews the glue is failing on the doors, panels and plinth coverings. Summerbridge will not speak to customers directly and they have no relationship with the kitchen company who supplied us. I found an alternative supplier and had to buy the products again to replace the failing ones or face a complete new kitchen. The original supplier - The Kitchen Station specified a Lakes kitchen and then switched to Summerbridge. DO NOT GO NEAR THEIR PRODUCTS!!!
I would leave no stars if I could but this isn’t a option. I contacted Summerbridge in February in regards to opening an account. We didn’t hear nothing from them so made contact with them in March to which they said they will get in touch, nobody ever has! Customer service is obviously not on their forefront as business. It’s a good job they only deal with trade and don’t think the general public would be happy to deal with them if this is how we have treated.
great choice, great product. Very sturdy cabinets with a multitude of options for kitchen,bedroom and bathroom. Staff are very friendly and helpful. can even deliver custom sizes.
Avoid this company like the plague!!! They supplied our kitchen and the vinyl within 1 year had started to fall off the plinths. Now most of the vinyl is peeling off all the cupboards too. We've tried to contact the to resolve this and upto now they are shirking their responsibilities. Very expensive which I didn't mind paying but seeing how very low budget this kitchen quality is I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. Avoid!!! Avoid!!! Avoid!!! RIP off merchants
Terrible quality, non-existent customer service. The units looked and felt cheap from the outset (MDF and cheap veneer), and the veneer began to peel away very quickly. My kitchen now looks awful, with the vinyl flapping about all over the place, so I am trying to replace a number of the doors and panels but have not been able to elicit any response at all from the company. Avoid, avoid, avoid!
