   Fantastic food, service is first class, prompt and friendly. Menu is extensive and portions are very generous. Cappuccino was also delicious. A great place and highly recommended. Thanks to all the staff for a brilliant experience.

   A busy spot and got seated straight away. Good selection on the menu and the service was quick. Food is great and there’s very healthy portions. I struggled to finish but I did and made room for a dessert. Good value for money too. There’s seating downstairs and upstairs and considering how busy it was the food came out quick. By the time I was leaving there was a queue out the door waiting for tables. The place is very well kept and nice & clean.

   Called today at around 2-2.30 and got a seat straight away even though it was busy for the time of day. This is a family favourite but haven't been for a while. Service and food as always very good. I got the Philly steak sandwich/ chips/gravy and rocket. Followed by blueberry and vanilla cheesecake. Food was great!

   Been going to AJs for many years, and its our favourite place to eat. We actually travel from Hillsborough just to go to AJs. Food is always 100% top quality and proper big portions, that we somehow always finish, leaving a clean plate. None of us has ever had a bad meal ever. Staff are super friendly, professional and efficient. You know it's a good place for food when there's often a queue out the door, no matter the day or time. In the 15months it was closed we never found anywhere like AJs and are so happy it's open again and the food is the same high quality menu as before. We've been back twice already since it reopened. We all love the daily dinners, gammon, chicken kiev, steak kebab, garlic wedges.... all the food is so good.

   It was a good surprise for a late dinner on the way to Downpatrick. The chef's day special is a good alternative to the usual burguer. I also suggest you try one of the days desert. The food was good, with a well done serving and good service.

   Fantastic mixed grill and the biggest garlic mushrooms known to humankind. Sadly the Bounty Cheesecake from the specials board sold out before we got to indulge, and most of the puddings weren't suitable for nut allergy sufferers but would return again if only for those delicious, gigantic mushrooms....

   This is a nice café / diner that has a loyal following of regular customers. Staff are friendly and attentive, food is good quality and plates are always full. However, one of our meals was a little fatty (Roast Beef) and the menus were covered in soap residue. Not a big issue but probably not what you would want in the current times... Overall a great place for lunch or a casual dinner.
