   My vulnerable 83 year old mother in law was refused the support of another person present at her consultation despite the Solicitor being aware of her vulnerabilities and that she struggles to digest formal information of this type. Information given was not completely correct and misleading, if anything the wording used dissuaded my mother in to follow through with her plans. To top it off we have received an invoice for 1.5 hours consultation despite the meeting only lasting 45 minutes and at no point where we ever advised the full cost would be payable despite the meeting finishing much earlier, we all know how expensive solicitors fees are so the shock this has caused to my mother in law has not helped her health at all! If you have any family or friends who are vulnerable I would strongly suggest you refrain from using these solicitors.

   Our house sale was extremely complex as it included a separate holiday let within the grounds. Foden's (Kimberley) handled it with tenacity and determination not to let it fail due to complexities unbeknown to any of us as the sale progressed to final completion. Top marks to her and to Fodens for their professionalism.

3. Geoinvestigate Ltd ★☆☆☆☆

   We have reported Stephen Foden, Fodens Solicitors to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) for making inappropriate, disproportionate & unwarranted legal threats involving breaches of Council T&Cs, data confidentiality GDPR & copyright. Like some in our police force this rude & arrogant solicitor seems to think that rules do not apply to him. We have recorded our complaint with the SRA and Telford Council so unlike Kirby's recent review Fodens can find our details. The young lady who was on the receiving end of Fodens aggressiveness on Friday felt intimidated, bullied, shocked, and emotionally distressed by it, but is now very angry after finding out that Fodens had absolutely no justification whatsoever for making it. Furthermore, this wayward solicitor ignored my call on the following Monday giving us no option in the end but to escalate the matter with a serious complaint to his regulatory authority. In our opinion this lawyers unprofessional behaviour has brought his firm and the legal profession into disrepute. No wonder the public don’t trust lawyers!

   Sarah and Lauryn were excellent to work with. I bought my first place, offer put in at the start of June and I got my key at the end of August, much quicker than everyone predicted. I felt like I was never left long without some kind of update, both Sarah & Lauryn were really quick at getting back to me on any questions I had throughout this process. They both worked really hard and I'm so glad I trusted them with the purchase of my first home. Would definitely recommend!

   The whole process of buying our first home with Aimee at Fodens was amazing! From offer to completion within 9 weeks (2 weeks added due to sellers solicitor). Aimee constantly kept us updated, and was an absolute pleasure. I can't recommend Fodens highly enough, I have not been stressed in the slightest, the price was very reasonable and I felt 100% confident in this company and their abilities throughout!    Rose Roe and Bobbie-Jean Grimstone did the work for us to buy our first house. They were fantastic and really looked after us. They managed to get the house purchase done in around 8 weeks which considering it went across the stamp duty change was really impressive. They were always contactable and gave us regular updates. They made what could have been an extremely stressful process super easy and they were so lovely and kind and explained everything. 100% recommend.
