No collection counter available, despite signs on the exterior inviting customers to come in and collect. No information about when a missed delivery package would be redelivered, until the day of delivery (necessitating urgent time off work to receive). No options for safe place or delivery to a neighbour. Absolutely terrible service that treats its customers like an inconvenience.

David, due to deliver 16 Dec pm. No show, must have run out of time as tracking shows back in depot overnight. David tries again 18 Dec, due pm, arrives OK but nearly an hour later than one hour slot scheduled. Says he's not in this area yesterday, I say tracking says it was in his van. Turns tale and rudely says its a busy time of year. Either too much to do or simply too slow. Amazon need to stop using DPD

I’ve recently moved to the area, and within just one week I’ve had three extremely disappointing experiences with DPD. My first parcel was marked as “put through letterbox,” but it definitely wasn’t, it wouldn’t fit. It was left outside, and due to the wind it was blown across the road into a neighbour’s garden. Thankfully, she spotted it and returned it to me, but it could easily have been lost. The second parcel was even more frustrating. DPD claimed they were “unable to provide proof of age,” yet no delivery attempt was made at all. Nobody knocked, and there was no card left. Now the parcel is being returned to the sender for absolutely no reason. My third parcel is currently listed as “delayed” with no explanation. There’s also no way to speak to an actual human being to resolve any of these issues, which only adds to the frustration. Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend DPD at all. In future, I will be requesting any other courier when placing orders. Three failed deliveries in one week is completely unacceptable.

Delivery driver Mark is spot on! He always arrives on time and is very helpful and polite - He would get a 5* if the review was on him only. However, I recently tried to call to advise of a change in our business opening times, as other drivers keep arriving at 6pm when we’re closed. Unfortunately, the gentleman who answered the phone didn’t seem to know anything and only responded with “dunno,” which wasn’t helpful at all.

I swear DPD don't look at at their reviews. So far, DPD is making Evri look good, and Everi is famous for damaging the parcels after arriving at its destination! The last 3 deliveries, my parcels from DPD, have been damaged, one of them a £1500 laptop. Their drivers don't care, and management clearly don't care about the terrible ratings, as nothing seems to be done about the poor customer service! The website is set in such a way that it's hard to make complaints. At least Google allows their customers to let the world know about their lack of service. I'm also glad I've managed to get 3 sellers to stop using them, and I hope more people take note. DPD DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! DO NOT USE THEM ESPECIALLY IN THE PORTSMOUTH AREA!

Honestly the worst customer service and professionalism I’ve ever received. I got an email saying my parcel was delivered when it wasn’t, so I called the depo who were completely unprofessional and talking to me as if it was my fault the parcel wasn’t delivered (or delivered to the wrong address). Would not recommend.

Driver’s just don’t even arrive or ring the bell. Just get a text saying “sorry we missed you” this has happened three times now. I spent the entire hour slot looking out the window looking for the driver who never arrived. Disappointed Postal Delays.

Would give zero or negative number of stars. Unless home when your parcel is being delivered. Trying to rearrange a delivery is impossible, speaking to someone is impossible. Once you time slot has been given and despite informing DPD that you won't be in they can't do anything and it will be pushed to another day (if/when not home) with a slot that can't be changed and you don't know when until the day so you could end up with a delivery that could be pushed one day ahead for a new slit that might not suit for a long time.. Such an incredibly poor system and customer service.

Hopeless 'help' page, and customer service. Drop off shop wouldnt take my parcel as they said it was too large which it was not according to the restrictions, wanted to talk to DPD to make sure I wasnt going to make another wasted trip but my reference for the parcel is invalid so i cannot speak to a human (parcel number invalid because they havent recieved it from me yet - becasue they wont accept it from me). Zero help - have paid for a service I cannot use.

Incredible lack of professional delivery experience. Driver passes on my street as I follow the tracking system and see the van just pass by as my delivery is marked as "DPD driver couldn't find the address". It is literally the last door on the street and even food delivery beginner's can find it. I will ask for a full refund and have the delivery company accountable for wasting my time as they with others. It is shameful that this company is still allowed to conduct business in this way without being held accountable.
