I cannot recommend this cafe highly enough. We had an afternoon tea yesterday and it was 1st class food, very friendly staff and fantastic views. A gem of a place and a must visit to everyone who enjoys top quality food

We bought vouchers via the price is wight for an afternoon tea for 3 people. The price for what we received was incredible. My goodness… the view was absolutely stunning with sea views and we were greeted by the most beautiful lady. We were made to feel very comfortable, we were shown to our table and when our food came, it was presented so beautifully. It was clear that everything was freshly made as the taste was out of this world. We were given the option to take the rest home as we couldn’t eat it all. Cannot wait to return and have already recommended to family and friends.

Incredible food and wonderful atmosphere. I can not recommend The View enough. They also do a quiz on some weekends! The View Burger is the best burger I've ever eaten. It's all freshly made. Can't wait to get back there!

Whilst on holiday on the Isle of Wight we were struggling to find places that offered vegan options. We then came across 'The View' where staff were so friendly and happy to chat through the menu and suggest items that could be swapped to make the dish vegan. I had the most amazing pancakes that came with lots of yummy extras. It is dog friendly, and as the name suggests - comes with a great view :)

We were very excited to try this new place as we regularly do dog walk at St Helens. Straight away we were made to feel very unwelcome. It said on their Facebook page that they catered for “vegetarian/vegan”. After some confusion they were able to alter our order to make it vegan, this only consisted of removing an egg from a vegetarian breakfast. In doing so we were all made to feel we were asking to much from them, maybe don’t advertise as catering to vegans if you don’t. We all finally decided to cancel our order as we were unable to even have hot drinks due to them having no milk alternatives at all. Its such a pity as we frequently the previous establishment on a regular basis. We won’t be going back again.
